Northern Exposure: The Complete Series Giftset (DVD, 2007, 26-Disc Box Set)

Northern Exposure - the complete series. Overall this was a good show. It tailed off a bit at the end. The earlier years were great. I would suggest getting the early years and not buy the whole box set.

I work the graveyard shift that includes a lot of down time. So I'm able to watch DVD's throughout my 8 hours. So when I shop for new DVD for my collection it was Northern Exposure I was searching for. I'm not exactly sure how many years that Northern Exposure has been off the air. From time to time I would find that the reruns would appear on TV in the wee hours of the mornings. Just resently I was shopping in Best Buy and saw that the The complete series for $172.00 and with tax would have been at least $200.00 out the door. I thought that was too much to put out for one item, I thought about searching Ebay for the same item. I searched, I Bid and I won. I saved at least $60.00 making my purchase through ebay. It's always best to search ebay to save money!!!

Having utilized eBay many times to purchase not only personal items but also art work, equipment, etc. (for my art gallery and framing shop), I was browsing for things of interest and noticed the item for sale, " Northern Exposure: The Complete Series DVD Giftset". Not really an avid TV viewer I had watched the program occasionally and enjoyed it very much, so purchased the set and realized that of all the items (several thousand dollars worth) I had purchased on eBay, this was one I am so very glad to have discovered, and watch it most every evening, and even though well over 100 episodes, realize it is far too short and will miss the exciting characters and adventures when it ends.

Northern Exposure is a masterfully crafted television series. The characters are so interesting, real and human. Their lives reflect real-life personalities, challenges, hopes, interpersonal relationships and dreams.

I purchased the 5 season set before the 6th was available. Both my husband and I continue to be surprised and amused by the antics of the good Dr and Occonnell. But also Marilyn, who is constantly surprising us with her tales of the Raven, Eagle and her ability to "whistle to the NORTHERN LIGHTS". The stories may have been about what was happening years previous, but they also fit in with todays trials and tribulations. Well worth watching. Much better than much of what is available NEW on the net. We love it and watch them often. OH, and the Christmas' in particular the one where Hollings sings Ave Maria----Well! An Amazing and loving gesture (wish all guys were that intuitive).

I love the dynamics in this show. It just works so well. Fleischman is such a stereo typical New York Jew. Chris is my alter-ego. and the thing with Holling and Shelly is kinda like me and my young girl :) I have waited a really long time for the complete series to come out and I grabbed the 1st copy I found. I can't wait to share it with my main squeeze! incidently i have been a few times to the real town they filmed the series in, it was neat!

Award winning Northern Exposure is one of the best TV series ever aired. Its offbeat themes and characters are absolutely unforgettable. I can watch them time and time again and enjoy them as much as the first time I saw them. It's great to have the complete series to watch at will. A great gift for Northern Exposure "junkies" like us!

I got this as a gift for my husband because Northern Exposure was one of his favorite TV shows. He absolutely loved the cute leather case that the DVDs came in. He commented on how this is an extra protection for his DVDs and the fact that it was leather was even better! He watches these shows at night on his own because I never really liked the show. This is his own personal time to enjoy something he likes. My husband is 100% satisfied with this set. Dealing with ebay was once again a pleasant and easy experience.

I bought it for my husband for our 10th anniversary. We used to watch them together every night. And now he can get rid of about 100 vhs tapes! Yeah!

I watched Northern Exposure when it was on TV and I remember it different than the DVD's. I fast forward through alot of silly writting and most of Chris's comments. The writers definetly had issues that they used Northern Exposure convey to the public. Rob Morrow makes the show along with Janean Turner. There are several others also. I will continue to watch with my finger not far from the fast forward button.

We're big fans of the show. Happy to get the full seasons
however saw it at Walmart the day after we won the bid
for $20 less than we paid, be careful shop around before
you get caught up in bidding. Nothing at all wrong with
the product or the service but if you are looking for a good
deal shop around, get the market value then see
how you can do better on eBay.

When I ordered Northern Exposure series I suspected the delivery to be about 15 days from date of purchase.

To my surprise, it was delivered with in three days, with this prompt service I will consider them again on my future program purchases.

One of my favorite tv series. Lighthearted, characters are great, loved seeing life in cold country. Casting was brilliant. Highly recommend this for daytime or evening entertainment.

We always loved the show. Now, with very few watchable sitcoms out there, the DVDs will give us hours and hours of enjoyable viewing. The quality is superb. I have no complaints at all.
