Every duck decoy collector should have this guide

In "NORTH AMERICAN FACTORY DECOYS", author Kenneth Trayer has provided an easy reference guide for factory decoy collectors at any level.
New collectors of factory made decoy will find this book invaluable in identifying decoys they own or find.
Experienced collectors can reference photos, articles, and copies of literature to cross reference their own collections and identify those "unknown" decoys.
This book is excellent for the average collector that enjoys collecting decoys, but may not be able to afford vintage wooden decoys with more "snob appeal" from old school carvers. I personally prefer to collect the type vintage factory decoys displayed in this book, simply because that is what my father and his hunting buddies used when I was a kid.
Vintage factory decoys may not ever rival the value of a Ward Brother Can, but they are fun and affordable.
There are of course some omissions as in any book, but overall it is an excellent guide.
Photos are outstanding, size is handy for bookshelf or coffee table. Text is easy to read without being too wordy.
I recommend this book to any duck decoy collector.
As a collector for over 30 years, I have happily added this book to my reference library.
