Movie Description Packed with the unmistakable art of Abbott and Costello's slapstick, in this plot-heavy farce the two comics play window washers, Ted Higgins and Homer Hinchcliffe. The film opens with the two fumbling on a ledge only recovering in time to be mistaken for messengers and ordered to deliver $50,000 in cash to a gangster. When they accidentally send it to a woman who spends the loot they then only have thirty-six hours to come up with the money. Some memorable routines include the "on and off" pants bit and the "you can't be here" repartee. The disparaging crime syndicate adds dramatic pressure and is after them until the end. Charles Barton directs with perfect pace, and the result is a great display of the team's talents.
