Nokia N93 (Unlocked)

Nokia N93 is the world first digital camera/camcorder capable cell phone that goes up to 3.2 MP with DVD-Like video quality. Came with the cool Twist and rotating screen, you can pretty much position the camera, adjust your shot angles. Also, the digital camera also can function as a digital camcorder that produce some high quality home video with TV out support which allow you to connect the phone to TV and play your recorded images and video. Voice command & memo allow calling and making voice notes without even have to open up the phone. Video calling function allows you to see the caller by stored images. The built-in USB port allow connections for standard USB to any PC and the nice thing about this is window XP will pick up and automatically install driver for the cell phone and most of its features. The phone is equipped with actual 2.0 Bluetooth and Stereo FM radio that actually work! The rest are pretty much standard for most of the Nokia phones from the 9500 series and up.

The main disadvantages so far are the built-in memory (only 50MB) and the miniSD slot. Not all types/brands of SD Card are supported. So far, I had tried my 4GB Kingston a 4GB A-DATA SD card and they seem to work fine, however, my generic house brand 2 GB SD card was not pickup nor read by the phone, I was able to read it from my laptop and my friend's Samsung phone. I’ve tried to format it in couple different format and also wide out the whole card as "raw drive" but regardless of how I format the card; the phone just won't take it. The standard phone package came with a 128MB SD card which work fine with the phone. If you need more space and decide to purchase a larger SD card, I would recommend A-DATA card, for the warranty, the speeds and the price. It would be much more worth-to-spend money if Nokia employed the DVB-H functions from the Nokia N92 phone on this Nokia N93 phone. Overall, it a really cool and worth-to-buy phone. As of right now, cost per unit runs around 700USD.

I have had this phone since it came out. And I sold a few. It is an excellent computer. It is really a mini laptop. Extremely fast and has an incredible WIFI connection. With it you can go online without a problem, just like a laptop.

The main reason I bought the N93 is of course the 3.2mp camera.
It works, but you get good image quality ONLY under well lit conditions. Indoor shots are poor/noisy/blurry. Unfortunately there's no way to set ISO so you really can't escape noise unless the lighting is VERY good. The built in flash is mostly useless.
Video is quite nice, but again if lighting is good.
Other functions like phone, PIM, Internet, email, mp3, mp4, etc are OK, as with most modern phones.

Overall I'm quite impressed, but expected more from the camera.

The bottom line: Though it won't replace your digital camcorder or camera, the powerful Nokia N93 does a respectable job of integrating quality multimedia capabilities into a cell phone. That said, it's a bulky handset and is best suited for convergence fanatics and gadget hounds.

The best thing i like in this phone is 3.2 megapixel camera, it makes nice videos and pictures!!!!!!!

Hands down, this the best flip phone available. You have an outstanding camera (better than most cameras alone!). Plus you get an amazing phone w/ wifi, which is a very handy little feature!

If you can get a good price on this phone, you must get one!

I love this phone. I have had it now for about 8 months and it has replaced my laptop, digital camera, ipod, radio and phone. The FM radio needs a headset to activate, but once activated, you can use the speakerphone, which is great.I agree with most the other viewers but would like to add, the battery life is not the best. Buy an extra battery.

I did not buy this item. My ebay account was compromised. I have informed ebay and the sellers many times...now I am asked to "REVIEW". What is up with this technology?

I love this phone. Yes, it costs alot for a cellphone but its well worth it. It shoots videos that are as clear as dvd and very nice pictures. The web browsing is just like that of a laptop. Infact it is a laptop, period. It says the callers name out loud which i think is spectacular. Trust me, with this phone you can't go wrong. The only little problem with the nokia N93 is that it is quite big, but for its capabilities, i think its ok to be that size. I paid $700 and i think it was worth every penny.

i have in love with the hone since its inception but could not buy it because it was very expensive for me.but thank GoD for ebay,i was able able to get it at avery good rate.the only problem i am hing is the battery .it does not last long enough.apart from that,its an excellent phone,thank u.

some of the best features i have seen on a cell phone ,camera excellent,ease of use , computer synx.......tower reception SUCKS.... drops calls from block to block....standing next to someone with the same service phone showing all reception bars, my n-93 NO SIGNAL, NONE , NADA@#%&***!!!
