Nokia 6682 (Unlocked)

I bought this item thinking it would be unlocked as stated by the seller. When I received it the nightmare began. The phone would not take my SIM card. When I contacted Cingular for the unlock key hoping to get it to work, it made no difference, the phone was hard locked. So this was a complete waste of money and time. I have a useless phone and out $130 approximately.

I love this phone! Cingular sent this to me to replace my 6230 and boy did I upgrade. I like the most are the camera with flash, timer, nightmode and zoom. I use it all the time to capture night pics and zoom in on action. The video camera is cool but the audio is not the best unless you are just catching a conversation or something. It is a SMARTPHONE which means it has the ability to manage your calendar, write to-dos & notes while using your phone. You can search the internet which the wide-screen makes very easy to do. It is not like a full PDA phone w/full internet access but it sure comes close to capabilities. It even has the ability to view documents and print pics from your phone directly with an add-in printer app. There is full bluetooth transfer capablity and add-in memory mmc card capability. It comes with a USB connector cord and PC software to upload pics and download songs to/from your computer. RealAudio is inlcuded on the phone to play your songs and videos. You won't be disappointed!!

I've been a loyal Nokia user for over 5 years now, from previous experience with Nokia, I have no doubt that this new update will out perform my current phone (Nokia 6800).

It turns out as expected, the 6682 has an elegant design, beautiful LCD screen display and easy to reach/operate buttons. It's my first time using a Sybian based smart phone, my first impression is that the Sybian OS design is very easy to navigate, even to a first time user.

The call quality is a big improvement over my current Nokia 6800, much clear and crisp receiver, speaker is good and loud.

The phone provides a lot of customizeable functions and options - Themes, Ring Tones, personalized display etc.

1.3 MP digital camera performs nicely in most situations, night mode with longer time exposure boosts shooting creativity. LED flash is very useful for photograping at night of subjects in close range.

Bluetooth support and EDGE high speed web browsing. Expandable MMC memory card renders visually no storage problem at all. (make sure you get the Dual Voltage 'MMC DV' card instead of single voltage ones.)

MP3 music player intergrated in the phone is great, either plays out of speaker or the included headphone.

Battery life is all right, with moderate talking time it lasts for about 2-3 days before it needs a charge. I usually have two batteries and just switching them around so it's never a problem for me.

Only thing I would complain is that the slide camera cover is too easy to be opened by accident, which renders the camrea into picture taking mode, kinda annoing. Also the headphone jack is not standard type, though Nokia sells a converter the coverter costs $15 a piece... But dispite those little quirks, the Nokia 6682 is an awsome phone to have. Highly recommended.

I love this phone. I love everything about it. My biggest complaint would be that it only comes with a 64 MB card! That's not much of a complaint if you ask me. This phone will take any format you'd like on your phone. Amazing functionality along with great display. You can use this phone for extreme basics like making a call, or extreme Smart Phone Apps like connecting wirelessly with Bluetooth and reading Adobe Acrobat files. I've had this phone for about two months, and love it just as much as the day I got it.

i liked all the features it had. It had office, camera. It's possible
to record, so video camera. The look was attractive. Nokias are known to be
very resistive phones. They are actually the best phones out of all brands.

Great upgrade from my last phone, a Nokia 6600. Excellent mp3 player! Some of the applications I used on other symbian phones will not work because this is the third generation s60. The only problem I have is that every so often (once every 10 days or so) the phone will randomly shut off.

The pictures turn out wonderful. The flash makes shots that most camera phone couldn't take. If you are familiar with Nokia phones it is very simple to navigate. Seems to be a very durable phone.

Unfortunately, this phone was sold as 'unlocked' but that was not the case...it was locked.
Therefore, the phone can't be used. I have gone to everyone in the business to get this phone unlocked but they cannot unlock the Nokia 6682. Can someone at eBay contact the seller and get the unlock code? If not, I just got screwed!

I purchased this phone due to the death of a phone that I didn’t like very much. I researched before I bought it and had previous experience with Nokia phones, so I was comfortable in payring almost $200.00 for it.
But once I got it and had it charged I knew why I bought it.Very easy to use and the phone it self is very light and yet sturdy at the same time. The screen is big and clear and the design is very stylish.
The camera on the phone exceeded my expectations and the flash on it can take a pick in the dark and you still come out from a few feet away. The lens cover is very functional as wel. The sofware is easy to use and the add ons for this phone are endless, all you have to do is search a little on the internet and there is a ton of cool apps. The only thing that I have not taken advantage of the music player, I do have music ring tones but I do not utilize the MP3 player on the phone for any other purpose.
The down side of the phone is the keys are very small, I like to text a lot and found that my fingers mashed the wrong key or too many keys sometimes. Other than that it was well worth the purchase.

After I get the usb cable, and am able to connect with my laptop (no bluetooth)I will like it even more I am sure!!

I buy because the good review in internet, but the phone is not that well, slow, poor camera, very slow to reed mp3 to use like a Mp3 player.

I decided to buy this phone as a birthday gift for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! It has a lot of features that she can access and she's very happy with her cell phone. It was in excellent condition and has become a little scarce. My daughter wanted this specific model, so I was thrilled to have found it on ebay.

Just got my new phone and still trying to figure it out. Overall I like it so far and it takes great video and still shots. Reception is very good and there is just so many things you can do with this phone! Would recommend it for someone who likes all the bells and whistles!

This is the most versital phone I ever pruchased. Ideal for keeping track of meetings and user friendly software to keep track of all the great photos that this phone can take.

My favorite phone i've ever owned, and i've had sever really nice phones, including a blackjack 2. Uses S60v2 meaning plenty of software, even nes and gameboy emulators. Also the most durable phone i've had, lasted the longest, was like a tank, it still works(except it fails to recognize sim card), however, this phone got wet, dropped down two flights of stairs and taken much other damage, and yet it still turns on.

I bought this phone two weeks ago because I was impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has an excellent camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The phone's size is more big than the ordinary phones cell but I'm not disappointed My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone is somewhat confusing. Other Nokia phones I've owned )like the N75 and E62) have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone for the elegant design.

I had always hoped to own this phone or one of its siblings - the Nokia 6680 and Nokia 6681. The features are top notch - a bright lcd, a mega pixel camera, no hussle bluetooth, an RS-MMC memory slot, an excellent design and over all great internal functions.
Perhaps the biggest of advantages is the always excellent reception Nokia is known for.
There is hardly anything to say against this phone. Maybe what I would have prefered on the phone is either a mini or micro memory slot instead of the uncommon RS-MMC format slot.
Otherwise, this is a great all round phone. Classy to the eye but not cheap to the feel, this phone is worth a try.

Everything about this phone is perfect. The size, the ease of functions, the camera. I have gone through a lot of phones in the past, but this one I will hold onto for a long time!
