Nokia 6610 (Unlocked)

Its very small and light, good battery life, not to expensive and the display screen is very bright but not bright enough to hurt the eyes. It is just right and i personally feel it is a great buy.

The 6610 is a good basic phone.
Since this design is a few years old now it doesn't have some of the bells & whistles that current phones have. However, as a couple of other reviewers have noted, the Nokia 6610 is robust and easy to use. This speaks of good quality and intelligent design making for a convenient and pleasant to use personal assistant.
One reason that I like it is that it's the optimal size for my hand - not so small that it will slip out of my hand and not so large as to be clunky. The buttons and screen are also right sized making it easy to read and dial.
Besides the expected voice and SMS features, another key feature (for me) is that the contact manager allows up to three numbers per contact so that you don't have to create individual contact entries for each different phone number that a contact may have. It also has a WAP browser which is occasionally useful if you need to look up a phone number or something on yahoo or google ; the limited screen size, WAP limitations, and minimalist processing power makes web browsing only marginally useful.
All in all, the Nokia 6610 is a worthy voice & text communication tool that won't let you down.

I bought this phone for my wife, she has another phone just like it and won't part with it, what she love about it is that its small enough to fix into pocket or purse, it has loud ring tones. color screen and it also has a radio. its also simple to work with, she has gotten very confindent with this type of phone since they don't make this type of phone any longer, she doesen't want to part with this one, she is even willing to buy two or three more just in case one breaks, gaven the opportunity she take as many as she can find. there is no other phone for her. she has had her phone for 3 years and has had no problems with it. the seller did a great job in getting this item to us quick and in good working condition, he did as promise, the only thing that I dislike about this phone is THEY DON'T MAKE THIS TYPE OF PHONE ANY LONGER AND I'M CONTINUE TO LOOK ON E-BAY FOR NEW LISTING ON THIS TYPE OF PHONE. this type of phone should never have been taken off production. Ive had this model phone for about 8 years now, and it's really suited me well. Nothing fancy. No camera, no internet, Simple list GUI, it'll do polyphonic ringtones...

Ive been texting heavily for 10 years, especially when AT&T and AIM formed the original AIM Mobile. This phone came in about 4 years later, and there isn't a phone that I've tried yet that beats it.

I had several of this phone and proven to be durable, easy to use and
most of all easy to keep. We send to our relatives back home and
so far not I have not receive a single complaint about the phone.

This phone is user friendly, easy to manage. Would recommend to anyone that only wish for a basic, easy to use and great price phone.Its perfect for my need.
