Nokia 6555 (AT&T)

I really like this phone for several reasons. First of all, the reception is amazing. I have yet to find a maker of phones that is more skilled at providing better reception than Nokia. I have never been disappointed with Nokia. I've had several friends and family members to my house who have other brands of phones and Nokia always comes out the winner.

Secondly, I really like being able to change the shortcuts to suit me and my lifestyle rather than being stuck with what the manufacturer predicts will work best for me and every other user on the planet.

I also like how user-friendly the menu is. You really don't even need the manual. I was able to change my ring tone, adjust my shortcuts, add contacts and reminders, and set up my speed dialing without ever once cracking open the manual. If you aren't very computer literate, I'm sure the manual is a handy tool. However, I was able to show my dad how to add contacts and change his ring tone and he had never used a computer.

One more thing I like is that the mini (front) screen is in color. That is a great feature. I have one picture as my background on the large inside screen and another one on the outside. It's just a fun little thing, but worth mentioning.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this phone to anyone.

This phone is a bit of a curate's egg. It looks really stylish, sits well in the hand, is light,easy to use and somehow just feels 'right'. However, the biggest problem with this phone is the battery. Just being left on standby and making no calls, it needs recharging every couple of days. A car charger is an essential extra 1piece of kit if you are travelling, as the battery indicator goes from full to nearly empty very quickly, even if not being used. Having said that, reception is very good and calls are clear, menus easy to use. As I only use this phone for calls, texts and diary notes, it suits the purpose. Not sure it would be much use, because of the poor battery life, if you wanted to store a lot of info or connect to the internet. Not had any problems with blank screens etc as described by other reviewers.

the phone was a good buy but it also didn't last long. the battery will not hold a charge. when we got a new battery the phone would turn off everytime it was closed.

I was able to get a lot of three non-working Nokia cellphones to "play" with. I was able to fix my existing cellphone and build another by reworking parts of the three. A great learning experience. Dave M.

It is mobile phone Nokia 6555 bought by me, custom-made number 270436807061 at company AT&TT.In the specified goods there are strong noise hindrances. I ask the help in the present state of affairs. I got it in about a week and a half,it was a 2007 not new with pics on it from someone else. would i buy from this company again ,i don't think so .sell it as new .when you get it its not new but used

I have the phone about a month. It is good to make a phone call but ringing sound is not loud enough in outdoor even you set in outdoor mode. I have not used other options yet.
If you do not mind to return and exchange the phone, you may buy it. There are more choices!

Am not able to use the phone to retrieve anything from the internet. Am unhappy the problem was not taken care of.

actually,i accidentally bet the nokia phone and did not know how to cancel it.i hope it's not too much.i'm sorry.

the nokia 6555 is a great looking phone, comfortable to hold and to use. it has ample features, but is less complicated than their other products. i do not need to use office word or excell on a phone for example.

after a few weeks though, issues started to come up. first the connection to the charger waas iffy, whereas the connection worked only if the phone was placed at particular angles. then sometimes the phone would not shut off, period. Sometimes a blank white screen comes up and no imput will change it, and sometimes meaningless characters dominate. today it works fine, but i leave wednesday on a business trip, and need to depend on this...wish me luck

Fake fone...its all a nead to say...i went to a nikia store and they said me that the fone and components are fake...

loose connection with the charger, it easily falls out,sometimes hours later the phone still isn't charged, and one of the earpieces already came apart.
have yet to receive a new ac charger i asked for.

This phone is so easy to use big screen. I had one just like it that I got wet hunting last year. I bought another phone after a mounth I wanted my nokia 6555 back

lost one just like it. I like to flip open & use, no pass codes to press to disable keys (so it dosen't dial in my pocket). camera is a nice feature i have used to log where we parked at disneyland, to copy documents, and taking pictures of our child. Not much negative about the phone, and i like the roll over minutes on the plan i have. though cheeper would be nice!
