I don't want to list all the features this phone has because there are plenty of them and you can look those up at Nokia's web site. I have done a lot of phone comparisons before deciding on this phone, and you get more features with this phone than most others. Although I'm one of those folks who mainly use it to make calls and hence can't comment much on many features, I can tell you that the camera works great, producing quite decent pictures for a phone; the synchronization with Outlook is a God-sent for me (software free from Nokia); and overall the phone is very easy to use. I particularly like that you can program certain buttons with "shortcuts" to whatever features you use most, and the radio comes in handy more often than I thought, as does the MP3 player. I also think the voice quality and volume of the phone are terrific, the best I've so far experienced in a cell phone, and the display is bright enough to be adequate in bright day light. I would have given this phone 5 stars easily if it didn't have those two or three things that bug me about it, however minor they are: 1. The ring volume is not loud enough and I do miss calls every now and then. (Strangely, on my old Nokia 6610 the voice volume was annoyingly low, but the ringer volume was a heck of a lot louder.) 2. The keypad is not the most responsive, i.e., the buttons are sometimes hard to press, particularly the toggle button. (The Nokia 6610 was much better in that respect!) And 3., the design! Or actually, one might want to ask: what design? I mean, everyone has his/her own taste, but it's just bland. Just plain and square. That's it. But then that might be considered a plus by some folks. I have noticed when I was travelling internationally and used this phone and my Nokia 6610 at the same time with two different #s that the 6610 sometimes still was able to pick up a signal in areas where the 6230 couldn't, although the service provider was the same for both phones. However, I have not had any problems with a signal here in the US so this may not be an issue unless you move around in areas with weak signals. I hope this helps and that you will enjoy the phone if you decide to buy it.

this phone is really great. i own two of them, nokia has a great user interface that anyone can understand. this phone can still outperform newer phones just released in the market. with its expandable memory and bluetooth capability, this phone, though old is a must-have! this phone still kicks butt. just make sure you have firmware versions v.5.24- v5.50 to get the most out of this thing. 5.50 is the latest firmware. to check the version just push *#0000# and youll see the firmware version and the year it was released. v 5.24 and on fix a great deal of problems seen in pre versions. now, the camera is clearer, bluetooth doesnt stall, higher mmc supports( by the way mmc's are soo cheap on ebay), the display is cleaner, and the mp3 player is better too. hope this helped.
