I bought this phone to take to Europe since my "regular" phone won't work there. It did exactly what it was supposed to do. I bought a global sim card and was able to make and receive calls and text messages with no problems. This is not at all a fancy phone, but it's small and light, and really pretty cute. When my plan with <major service provider> runs out I intend to use this as my everyday phone, using a local sim card and pay-as-you go service.
Cons? The ringers are not very appealing and are also not very loud. Some people may find the lack of a camera or other tools to be "cons" but I don't really want all the bells-n-whistles anyway. I carry my 10mp digital camera with me so what do I need with a low-res camera phone?
Okay I have this mobile so I shall do a review on the pros and cons. Its quite an old model ut I guess its here for someone who is intending to get it.
Pros: Cheap, and low in price.
Small, light and compact.
Keypad is great for typing smses, do not that the record for the fastest sms sent was done on this phone. The keypad is one of the reasons to be able to type sms fast. (not sure if the record is broken though)
Relatively good battery life.
Good for places which bar camera equipped mobiles.
I used it for 3 plus years. The phone is durable.
Cons: Not much features.
Relatively simple phone.
No radio, mp3 or camera.
The design is simple, and may seem quite dull.
Low memory space.

To sum it up, its great for someone who just need a phone to call and sms, its great for the most basic of handphone features now, which is to call and text another people.
