Nokia 6061 (Unlocked)

Awesome phone. What more can you want from a basic flip phone? Speakerphone, bright LCD screen, TXT messaging, etc. Another solid phone from Nokia. And disregard the person who gives the phone a 1 rating. Who rates the shipping company when they should be rating the phone?

its a decent looking, strong, durable phone that fit the desire of my client. I bought it because it said new in box however it was refurbished from cingular. 1 thumb down to this seller for leading me on that it was new.

the bat. life is the worse of any phone i have ever had i have to recharge it all the time
the buttons on the side are to easy to actevate can turn the phone on just carreying it in the case
cannot turn up the volume of the ring tone very loud
wish i could get my money back and try another phone

i have always owned nokia phones but wanted a flip phone with just the basics but still having enough junk on it. well the 6061 has it: speakerphone, strong body,a antenna that is fixed, and reception that in my opinion is the best. i have always had good luck with nokia. if your looking for a good flip phone with just enough the 6061 is the one.......

The Nokia 6061 is a good phone for it's price range. The phone does not have a camera. If one typically does no use the camera it is great. I bought two, one for me and one for my mother. It is easy for me to teach her how to use it within a few minutes. The only thing I do not like about. When someone calls you cannot see the number until you flip it open. But otherwise I love it.

I bought a Nokia 6061 to upgrade from a Nokia 3021. I am not a flip phone person but I really like this phone the volume is fine its like the person is sitting next to me my husband saw my phone now he wants one I really highly recommend this phone who really like flip phones or Nokia phones.

I needed a replacement phone and I really like NOKIA phones, and this one was a good replacement for my older model.

This cellular one is beautiful, small and with one they screen very colorful. It is possible to be kept in any place and if you are a buying woman to shine to him spectacular

Phone has RF issues. Took it to Cingular for a check and it was confirmed bad. Phone is not use able. Quick shipper~~~~~!!!!

this phone is not that bad but it has a couple of missing features but for one thing it is missing the volume control for for the audio it has something that adjusts the volume for you automatically for the volume around you. also this phone gives you a very weak signal causing a lot of phone calls to drop.

I love Nokia phones, but I can only give them a rating of good, They still make the best phones in the world, but since they have gone into the flip phone, they just are not as tought as they were, I remember having customers bring in there old 3390's with water dripping out of them, went fishing and the phone went swimming, 98% of them worked fine once they were dry, don't try today. Still a World leader in GSM Phones, but the old days are gone.

I bought this phone for my husband. We both had Motorola v180 from Cingular, and we have had nothing but dropped calls and problems. I purchased a Nokia on line and I love it so I bought him the flip phone. Our calls are much better, clearer, I just wish the display light would stay on longer. I can't wait to get out of our Cingular contract.
Phone is great.

This is the first time I bought anything on EBay. But I had lost my phone, and the price of this phone was very reasonable compared to retail prices. It is a great, practical phone. It works perfectly fine. I recommend it to anyone looking for a cell phone.

VOLUME PROBLEM SOLVED
-To raise the volume is to push the silver round circle on the keypad while talking to someone on the phone. Change the volume during a call will fix your problem.

i bought this for a replacement phone it was shipped out timely but fed-ex lost it and i'm still waiting for them to settle the claim this is twice in 3 months fed-ex has done this i would not recomend anyone to ship fed-ex

The wrong cell phone was sent they where out of the phone I ordered sent another in it place was not what I wanted. Hopeful the seller refunded my money have not recieved my creidt card statement yet they did work with me but I cannot give them any rating yet.

Nice phone, small & it's a flip. Purchased for my dad, but he doesn't like it. Only thing he doesn't like is you cannot assign ring tones for individual people. He's over 40 & needs readers & doesn't like to have to put on his glasses to see who's calling. Alot of times, he would miss the call by the time he got his readers on.

As for me, I think for the price, the phone is great!

Basic phone makes it easy to use for those who don't need the touch screen and extras. Long stand by and hours of talk make it ideal for back up or for work. Only thing I'd like to point out is it is a basic phone so the pricing should be a bit lower.

Bought this for my wife, not a major cell phone user, who is on a pay as you go account. Neat little flip phone is half the size of her former Nokia candy bar phone. MUCH easier for her to turn it off and on, and to carry without accidentally hitting a key in error. Has all the important things, but no fancy gadgetry...we both like that. Buy if you use the phone mostly for calls, and less for texting or photo sharing. Inexpensive and unlocked.

1 weeks ago and was immediately impressed because it's a users friendly phone. The Phone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan. The menu system on the phone makes easy to find someone in the address book, set an alarm. to Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

My husband and I love these phones. They are simple to use and the color quality of the screen is excellent. The main selling point of this phone is that it still uses the plug in type of earbud earphone for the phone. This allows hands free calling capability. I simply put the cell phone in my pocket, attach the earbud line into the bottom of the phone, place the earbud in my ear, and I can then carry on a conversation while I looking at spreadsheets on my computer. Newer cell phones have done away with this headset style, relying instead on the Bluetooth appliances that are big, plastic, and hook onto your ear. This phone also has a speakerphone, games, great ringtones, an alarm clock, a calendar, a to do list, a section for notes, a calculator, a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and 1 touch dialing. Most of all, this phone is extremely sturdy, and is a flip phone, which I love. Flip phones flip closed and this saves the wear and tear on the screen and the keypad. The ringing volume goes from a 1 all the way to a 5 (which is very loud), and this feature can be adjusted by pressing the large silver central button on the keypad, then select "Settings" (the icon that looks like a wrench turning), scroll down to "Tones", scroll down to "Ringing Volume", select "Ringing Volume" by pressing the central silver button on the keypad, then press the Right or Left side of the surrounding circular black and silver "O" (this will move the volume bars up or down), and then you are set. In addition, the voice volume of the call can be adjusted by doing so when you are on a call (this is the ONLY way this can be done, and is not, unfortunately, explained in the operation manual). Go ahead and press 1 on the keypad (this will call the voice mailbox for voice messages and will register as a "call"), then, while on the phone with the voice message operator, once again press the central surrounding circular black and silver "O" and you will see the bars come up as you do when you are adjusting the ringing volume. Once you set the voice volume, it is set for all calls going forward. In otherwords, it stays in the phone memory and you don't have to repeat this for each call. There is absolutely nothing about this phone that I dislike. When you purchase it, the phone comes with the operator manual, a new Nokia batery, and a charger. You insert the Sim card from your old phone into your new phone, under the battery in the phones' battery compartment, when you get it. Nokia is by far the leader in cell phones, and their phones are known for their excellent call range quality and clarity of all calls. In addition, their charging jack is very common and inexpensive and easily replaceable if you lose it (look on Amazon.com). They are about $6.00. The earbud is also on Amazon.com (enter "headset for Nokia 6061") and you can get those for about $4.25. I would get several and put them in the car for emergency usage and at the desks in your home. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone wanting an excellent, attractive, exceptional cell phone.
