This is a great phone in a small package. The speakerphone is a great feature so you can talk hands-free. This phone is packed with features stopwatch, countdown timer, to-do list, alarm, calculator, notes, calendar, and an FM radio. The radio is a great feature because once you attach the headset you can listen privately or activate the speaker to share the music with everyone. Loud ringtones and active backlighting make it easy to know when your getting a call. Best of all it's a NOKIA. The battery life on every NOKIA I have ever had is great! You wont be dissapointed.

This phone is the latest version of the super little mighty mite Nokia 3120, with an FM Radio added, 1800 band removed, pop-port changed, standard barrel headphone jack added and screen resolution(crispness) improved from 4K to 65K pixels. Size is same.
I am submitting this review to reinforce all the positives already mentioned about this phone and to answer those wishing for this phone with blue-tooth. It is the Nokia 6021.
With blue-tooth, mp3 player, and camera it is the Nokia 6230 or later 6230i(these two have had some reliability issues, see reviews).
For the reviewer complaining about the signal level gage, set wallpaper to NONE and set color scheme to Orange. This will increase viewability in all screens by 10 times.
For those who never can never seem to get enough receive volume from a phone, as soon as the call you made has answered on this one, or you have answered an incoming call (both indicated by LOUDSPEAKER text label showing up in place of HEADSET text over the upper right soft key), select LOUDSPEAKER and adjust the volume using the right and left navigation keys. You will be impressed. Warning: do not select LOUDSPEAKER then put the phone directly to your ear before checking/setting volume. It is a loudspeaker first and can be adjusted down for a loud receiver.

Its very small and light, good battery life, not to expensive and the display screen is very bright but not bright enough to hurt the eyes. It is just right and i personally feel it is a great buy.

After my Motorola V180 quit working,I contacted Cingular about a new phone. I was told since I had been with Cingular for 6 1/2 years, and what a great customer I was, they would do me a favor and allow me to upgrade my phone, but at the 1 year contract price yet sign another 2 year agreement. After checking,I discovered this deal was going to cost me around $200.00 or more and a new 24 month contract ( I would hate to be a BAD CUSTOMER if this is how they treat their good ones). Anyway, I told them to shove it up their Digital Tower, No Thanks.
I started checking around and found that you can buy cell phones on E Bay, change the SIM CARD out on Cingular phones, and all is well.
I purchased a Nokia 6030 on E Bay, put in the sim card from my V180 and it worked great.
The Nokia 6030 is a small basic phone with a FM radio built in ( requires a Nokia earphone to work, Not stereo)and you can sent and recieve messages.
It works OK, fits in your pocket or purse and gets good signal reception.
So if you need a Small,Basic phone without all the other features now being offered by the phone makers, its a good but not great cell phone and selling cheap. For me, all I need is a phone that works, and that is all this 6030 is good for, phone calls and messages. JK

The Nokia 6030 is the best all around cell phone i have ever used.Even though they might not have the mp3 player and all the uneeded extra's for a cell phone these cannot be beat for signal and battery life.I have owned over 30 phones in the last 4 year's and this is by far the best.It's a durably built phone,you can actually hear the other person on the other end talking to you,text messaging has never been easier,the screen is just the perfect size.But one of my favorite feature's on the phone is the built in Speaker phone.Why bother with bluetooth when you have a speaker phone that i have personally went outside and sat the phone down on my car,walked well over 30 feet(most bluetooth's distance)and been able to hear and talk to the person i'm having a conversation with.And the second best thing is i am yet to drop a call using this phone.Nokia out did themselves when they made this sweetheart of a cell phone.I give this phone a perfect score and i even bought an extra one incase i messed this one up so incase i couldn't find one somewhere i have an extra ready to go.Great Phone!!!!

When you just want an affordable phone that does exactly what it was made for and nothing more, you look no further than the Nokia 6030. It looks great, and is simple to use.
It doesn't have the funky, clever buttons that just add difficulty to most Nokia phones. The button layout is exceptional. The ringer, speaker, and mic work perfectly. The phone looks great, and it's the perfect size to be sleek enough to tuck away, but large enough that it's not giving you cramps from keeping it from flipping around in you hand.
The only detractors from this phone are that you need special headphones to use the included FM Radio, the on/off button is a bit of a pain to press, and the battery cover sqeaks until you put some tape to pad it.

This phone is great, i like the fact that you can change the faceplates... the radio is great too... ringing styles are good and loud so that you can hear your phone... can be put to meeting, outdoor, silent,regular... i recommend this phone its great..

I have owned my Nokia for approximately one month. I really like it. My first cell phone was a Nokia. I enjoy the simplicity of the phone.
The price on eBay was what encouraged me to purchase this particular phone. In addition to owning a Nokia before and aware of its quality and functionality.
I had a more expensive flip phone prior to purchasing the Nokia. It had all the bells and whistles but, took alot more energy to use. Flipping open the cover to obtain the function keys, using codes to hear my messages. Too Much!!!!
The Nokia I own now just has a button I hit and I can hear my messages, no remembering codes or passwords.
I live in a rural area and I can even receive reception inside my home, whereas with the previous more expensive phone I could not.
The size is compact, sleek and clean. The battery last forever, I rarely have to re-charge it.
I recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, functional and friendly priced phone.

Referencing the phone itself, I like the radio features and the sleekness. I dislike the fact that it doesn’t have a voice memo feature and that it's in no way sturdy. The battery back comes off easily. Alos, I store the phone in the pouch of my purse and have often found the facing off once returning home.

Buying a cell phone thru e-bay I thought might be risky, but it could save me a lot of money, and what I considered more important, could save me from extending 2 years on my contract. I found one that was compatible, bid, won, and the transaction went well. The product was everything it had said it was. The only flaw was the screen is a little dim, especially in the sunlight, but that is the way it was manufactured, and my changing eyesight. Overall, a very pleasant experience. lww

This phone has great reception. My problem is I am a creature of habit so I have a bit of a hard time learning the features on this phone. I have always had nokia phones so I could figure them out. This is just a non-fancy phone with great reception.

I bought the NewPhone and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours.Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

Great condition. Haven't had any problems yet and have had the phone for quite a while. Simple to use. Might not have all the fancy things on the phone, but I got tired of having phones that were difficult to use.

I washed my phone in the washing machine and totally destroyed it. I needed a new one. New ones were too expensive like $150.00 and I got a good deal on ebay I paid only $25.00. The phone worked great and I got another battery and a charger with it. The shipping was only another $6.00 So I saved $113.00 and now have a spare charger and a spare battery in case either of mine go bad.

I bought the Nokia 6030 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. The 6030's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

When we talked to the gentleman about the Phone that we wanted to buy it took us about a month and a half to receve the phone after we told the gentleman that we wanted money back from the order. Never got the money back but did get the phone like three weeks after we asked for the money back.

this phone was not for me i am a flip phone kind of guy. dont get me wrong i love nokia phones they get awesome service down here in the river bottoms in texas. but i just didnt like that it wasnt a flip phone. i hated having to unlock it every time i took it out of my pocket. i recently got rid of thatt phone and bought a new samsung sgh-c417 and this phone kicks nokias ass
