When it is said that a NOKIA 6010 is UNLOCKED - Most sellers mean that it is UNLOCKED for use with any GSM 850/1900 MHz Wireless Service Carrier's SIM Card for Voice Services ONLY!
The NOKIA 6010 may or may NOT be unlocked for data services depending on which Wireless Service Carrier's BRAND is on the phone.
In the case of a T-Mobile branded phone, it is FIRMWARE LOCKED to T-Mobile for Mobile Internet (t-zones), Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and other data services. A T-Mobile SIM Card is required to use data services.
I have verified that an Unlocked NOKIA 6010 T-Mobile branded phone will NOT work with AT&T/Cingular Mobile Internet, Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and other data services. ONLY Voice Services will work.
Find out the actual BRAND on the phone you are considering to purchase, many sellers are not disclosing the actual wireless carrier branding in their listing, (if there is a brand, it could be a NOKIA 6010 un-branded, unlocked, and non-firmware locked phone). I have owned several Nokia and Keyocera phones and the Nokia 6010 is very durable and easy to use. I found the functions easy to use and even my children can navagate the menu with out help. I like the fact that there is no antenna to break and I have dropped it a few times and it did not crack.

) I recieved this item in perfect condition and it works as if it were a brand new phone. There is no wear nor scuffs anywhere on the phone. I thought it was a brand new phone and not a used one. The phone works well and my daughter enjoys it a lot alomost as much as the phone that got broken by mistake. or the seller. The seller is a person of their word. I will tell others about this seller and in the future i hope to do business with this seller again as i hope that my friends would buy from this seller in the future.

Great little bar phoneGood basic phone, good sound, basic text messages. Great for non-cell phone people like myself who have home phones and only use cell for emergencies and maybe business calls.
It's perfect - mine got run over by a Dodge Caravan and only the face was busted, it still kept working! I found someone to replace the display screen for $25. I only bought a replacement because mine got really wet and the speaker got damaged so people couldn't hear me talking.

It was from somewhere else, so I had to call thebankand canceltheone card and they sent me a new one. As soon as I gotthenew oneI paid right away, this was NO ONES Fauld and I am sorry for delay butas you cansee above, I had to get the one cardout of the computer, before somthing else happened...

Nokia 6010 Cell PhoneI purchased the cell phone as a replacement for one that had a short in it. My wife has had a stroke and is unable to use her left arm so we need a phone that does not require opening up to use it. It also has large enough numbers that she can see to make a call.
I was disappointed after receipt that I was unable to use it as it had the wrong "sim" card that I could use with my AT&T service.
The seller made a quick shipment and the phone was as he had advertised so it was just that I was not smart enough to realize it couldn't be used as I wanted.
I did finally have to purchase one through AT&T that now does the job for me.

I bought Nokia 6010 item#110225014420 on ebay on Feb-25-2008 and paid by PAYPAL in the same day .the tranaction ID:57C66627JU509104W from:bigr42 Total $23.00.I did not known why they refund the payment back to me in the same day.
on March-06-2008 I got the E-mail from ebay this item:Nokia 6010 that I bought had not been paid ,So,I paid it again ,the transaction # 6HL31912LK9435443.I wait about 2 weeks,but I did not receive the phone,so I made the Dispute of payment,on March-30-2008 they refund money back to me.
I did not known why you let some one list a sale on ebay and people buy and paid it.and they do not want to send the thing to customer.That why I dilike it.Thank you.

My husband lost his old phone & he doesn't like the new phones. He said they can't handle what he puts a phone through. This is the ONLY phone he will use. I am so glad that they are still selling them. This phone is excellent & in perfect working condition. I'm thinking about buying him a backup just incase.

I've had several of the Nokia 6010's. I live in an area that doesn't have good cell service. The 6010 does well in picking up service, is an easy to use phone with not many extras, tough & inexpensive. I like this phone & would buy it again.

although this is an older style phone I find it has superior battery life, up to 3 days without a charge depending on usage. It also has a very good antenna
and picks up a useable signal when some newer phones don't. it is also very tough and will take much abuse, have dropped it over 15 feet to concrete several times -- sometimes the case pops apart and the battery comes out, I just put it back together & it still works -- I have one that is now almost 3 years old that I keep on hand as a back up & although you can't read the numbers on the keypad any more & the screen lens is hard to see through It
still works pretty god in a pinch.so for a guy who works hard in the field where
