What do I like about the Nokia 6010?Well,for starters I consider this the modern incarnation of the true workhorse in the Nokia line:the 6190.The 6010 does have a color screen and a very good menu to work with.So what that it doesn't fold;this means that it cannot be broken in two. Also,so what that there's no camera.Come on now,in real life I see no need of a camera. If I need pictures I just limber up my Fujifilm digital and snap away.also,if I don't like the faceplate/covers I can change them as often as I change my socks. And the battery does last a good long time.In short,I see what I like and I hang on to it.I would seriously consider this to be an excellent starter phone;you know, test the waters so to speak and see how you like it and your provider.
Great phone - simple, convenient, easy to use, low radiation and durable. The only drawback is that it was a little difficult to find a high end, hands free devise - but that isn't really a problem because the dollar stores are flooded with simple cheap headsets for this particular model! :-) I've dropped my old phone a gazillion times and it still works!
I have heard from people that this phone gets a better signal than a v3 Razr. I know of people who have dropped their 6010 10 times or more and it still works. I know of more people who have got their 6010 wet and it still works 100%. This phone is the greatest phone any company has ever made and its candy bar, which means it is a lot less likely to have screen issues like most slider/flip phones of today. You will NEVER go wrong buying this phone.
I bought this phone because I had one, like this, a few years ago. It does have excellent reception. Nice phone to use, if you don't need bluetooth, and not eligible to upgrade your current phone, yet. It's also great replacement if you don't want to spend a lot of money, for just simple calls, and not concerned with all the "in" features.
The auction was perfect. This is a good phone that keeps working. The 5 phones I bought were just as described and just what I wanted. Great phones, great auction and seller.

I made payment through pay pal immediately after receipt of the online bill. The seller never shipped the purhcased asset and did not respond to my questions. I would highly recommend that no one do business with this seller. This is my first, and hopefully last, negative experience on Ebay.
After my husband dropped his Nokia 6010 in our pond he wanted to get one of the same model, but no longer made. New ones being sold on Ebay were way too expensive & this used Nokia works just fine. Had to delete a few stired names & numbers, though. Very happy with this seller & product.
I like:that is a tough phone, I use it for work and it hadle good dust, a little wet and drops. a good phone if all you need is a cell to make calls, send message and check the weather
I dislike: its a little big
I decided to buy it 'cause I've had a few of this phones, when it gets messed up (after a while, may be a year) I replace it for another one because I know my keypad well, can write messages without seen my keypad :-) I'm very used to it
Bought to have a spare phone on hand w/o paying exhorbitant insurance fees that also require an additional payment when used. Phone is as stated. Works excellent. Fast shipment.
I wanted a phone that didn't have all those extra things on it I didn't need. I love this phone. It always has coverage even places my old phone that was suppose to be so great did not. I should have bought two just in case this one gets dropped.

I needed to replace my "identical" phone, which is quite sufficient for basic cell phone functions. I didn't want to learn a new phone or pay a high price for one. this older model worked fine with my cim card.
I got my first Nokia 6010 about three and a half years ago. I have a confession to make, I am hard on phones! My work involves running a hydro-excavation truck. We disturb the soil with high pressure water and suck it up with a vacuum truck. Anyways we are always wet and muddy, and the 6010 has been dropped, slung, accidentally thrown, fell off truck, fell of pickup, and ran over by four-wheeler. It has never let me down. It isn't fancy but it is very durable. I bought my second one on eBay because the phone company does not offer it any more. I tried a couple other models, but took them back and got another 6010. Actually I bought 2 more! So in three to four more years I will have a replacement for this one!
I was told by a person at ATT to get it, so it is not all his fault, BUT HE SHOULD HAVE SAID IN DESCRIPATION< THAT IT WAS NOT MADE ANY LONGER & YOU CANNOT GET NEW BATTERY FOR IT!!!!!!!YOU Probably got a good laugh out of selling it!!!! THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I received the cell phone through the mail with no problem. It was advertised as used, so I should not have expected it to look new. The phone went directly to college with my daughter as a spare if her present phone gives her any trouble in working. So the phone has not been used yet as far as I know. I did charge it and it appeared to work fine before she left.
