Nokia 2610 (AT&T)

I can't really say or offer an opinion because we never did use it. It sits in a drawer because I had purchased it for my daughter who had lost hers and then found it. However, I did also purchase a regular AT&T 2610 for a 56 year old friend who is not very up to date on modern technology and the large numbers and ability to set to loud sound has been great since he is hard of hearing as well.

Attractive but not flashy, this little phone seems built to last, which it should -- it's a Nokia. No camera or other accessories, this is basic and bare bones, which is perfect for a simple guy like me. Long lasting battery and decent speakerphone. My only gripe is that the "select" button can be finicky. That's the reason for my 4 out of 5 rating.

The listing did not say that this item is a pay as you go. Nice phone but did not want this kind of cell phone.

Please with my purchase. I purchased this cell phone bacause I want my grandson to have a phone like this, so he can develop the "feel" for a cell phone. Eventually a more expensive model will be purchased.

You can't beat this phone for the money. Not a lot of special features but a good phone with great battery life. You can adjust the font size on the screen so it's grat for people who don't have perfect vision like my mother.

the phone is a simole plain jane nothing fancy it makes and receives calls just fine works great with at&t would buy another one just like it as i am hard on phones so i buy cheap thanks.

I purchased the phone via ebay because every since AT&T purchased Cingular, most all phones are over priced from $200 and up. Cingular and other providers do offer less expensive of free phones with upgrads, AT&T doesnt. My ebay purchase was great, the only thing is that there were no instructions to accompany the item.

This was a brand new phone at a very good price, I got it, plugged in my sim card, and works just like one I would buy at the store. Couldn't have been easier.

It was a good deal, not a good texting phone. I bought to replace a broken phone and I didn't have the extra money to spend at the time. So it was a quick fix and now I have a an extra phone for back up when and if something happens.

The phones were exactly what I expected, great quality, and fully functional. I needed backup phone and these phones fit the bill exactly. They worked with my SIM card, and as soon as the battery was charged, they worked like a dream!

I gave this phone a 5 star rating not because it's the best phone out there (obviously), but because for its price it can't be beaten. Sure it has no fancy extras, but if you're looking for a cheap replacement phone or just a simple phone that does what a phone was meant to do (Phone calls & SMS messages), then go for it. So far it's been reliable, has a loud enough speaker, and the buttons aren't too hard to press, even with my larger fingers. It's not too bad of a design for a candy-bar style of phone.

Great little phone. No bells horns whistles or camera phone. Simple pay as you go no contract. Great phone for a back up.

Good, cheap phone. My normal AT&T phone died, so I bought this one to last me until I can upgrade. It's compact, makes calls, sends texts, and has IM and email functionality. I didn't need much more than that. My only complaint is that the buttons are pretty small, it's easy to make errors.

If you're looking for a basic phone to take calls and send text messages, then this phone will fulfill those needs. Since it doesn't have many built-in features, it is light and small, which makes it convenient to carry around in your pocket.

I bought this phone with the intention of using it in Vietnam. However, unlocking it is a pain and, therefore, costly.

I got these phones as back-ups since I recently lost one of my blackjacks, and my other one broke. So instead of waiting for an upgrade or paying an outrageous price for a phone, I now have these phones as a back up. Great for the price--does the basics, nothing real fancy.

This is a great plain phone, it can do alot of things but easy to use and the battery last ten times longer than my old SONY flip phone.

I remember when Nokia phones used to be really expensive. This phone's a gem for the price. Lacks bluetooth/infrared connectivity, but for the price, that's fine. It's reliable, and I managed to pick up a $4 headset (including shipping). Works a treat.

Before buying (in this package), make sure that you plan to use AT&T (either as an existing postpaid subscriber, or a new GoPhone/prepaid subscriber), as the phone's locked to the network.

I am used to Series 6 Nokia phones, but I must say that I am very impressed good this basic Nokia phone feels. The features that I miss the most are T9, Outlook synchronization and enough phone book entries. Plus if traveling abroad quadband/3G would be nice. Apart from these features, the Nokia 2610 has everything I need!
