Nokia 2128i (Verizon Wireless)

The item received was not the item ordered. This would NOT work with my Verizon account as it was for prepaid service only. Total loss of $61.00 and I donated the phone to a battered woman's shelter.

I loved this phone it was great for someone who just needs a basic phone and LONG Battery life. I do not like bells and whisles and do not need them. I don't need to be able to check my email or take pictures This phone would last for days when it was charged. I Love this phone!

I decided to buy it to continue on a contract with Verizon. I liked the size and the weight of the phone, plus is a Nokia, these come to be great phones, at least for me that I keep dropping them. I didn't like the menu, it was a little to old fashion.

I used ebay to buy the phone because I could not afford nor justify the prices on the phone through my cell phone service provider (Verizon). Buying on ebay was a much better option, and after five different bids on this model of phone I finally won. The phone was brand new and came with all its components and manual, and I have been very happy with this purchase.

This phone works very well, it gets surprisingly good reception, and it holds a charge for such a long time! I could go away for a 3-day weekend and not have to worry about needing to charge it. I don't like how small it is, my hand tends to get sore if I have to talk on it for long, and the display is extremely bright, so much that it's embarrassing to use in a dark restaurant or party, etc. But the flashlight was a nice feature! The ringer can be turned up really loud so that I can hear it even if its upstairs and I'm downstairs watching tv, or if I'm outside somewhere, with other phones I couldn't hear my phone ring very well, but not this one!

I had this phone for about 9 months, then dropped it on pavement while standing, and it totally quit, I had to get a new one. So I wouldn't recommend it if you're prone to clumsiness!

I love this phone because it has no bells and whistles forus seniors that only wish to talk on a phone! I do love the built-in flashlight though which has come in handy numerous times when we lost electricity or I needed light to see to put my key in the door after arriving home in the dark.

For those who do not care about bells and whistles on their mobile phones, but are concerned about two basic issues - RECEPTION and BATTERY LIFE, this is the best choice, period. NOBODY and no other model bits this little phone. Too bad Nokia had discontinued this model. If you see it, buy it. Can you hear me now?

Product was exactly what was advertised. Worked perfectly. I liked having a backup for my existing Cell Phone.

This little Nokia is an awesome no-frills phone. What it excels at is making and receiving calls. Isn't that why you bought a phone in the first place?

It isn't fancy but has super long battery life, a superior speaker phone option, and RARELY drops calls. I live in a very rural area and this phone gets reception when my wife and daughter's newer and more expensive phones do not.

It's so tiny that it fits in that little pocket inside of the regular pocket in your jeans!

I'm never giving this phone up!

I cannot find the NOKIA 2128i anywhere but eBay. I believe they are out of production.
This is the most useful and resilient phone I've ever owned and I've picked the same model for 5 years now, originally cause it was cheap but later because it worked so well.
I have dropped this phone into a bucket of bleach/water at work before , took out the battery , dried it for a few days , and it started right up.

For anyone who wants a simple phone. NO cameras, gadgets or anything complicated. Its small, simple, the battery lasts for days. The screens colored and it has useful features like the calendar, calculator and you can adjust the silent modes. Also it has a flashlight on the top and believe it or not I use that A LOT.
