Noah's Ark (DVD, 1999)

I watched this movie last night and to me it makes for a very bad tasting movie. they make fun of the bible and to me that's a no-no. I thought abraham was the one who asked God to save gomorrah, not noah. The son's were married before they came into the ark. The same with building the ark, where in the bible dos it say God finished the ark? Before the flood came God Himself closed the ark and all the people were in there. The son's didn't have to get their girlfriends out of the water and knock her unconscious first. All the other people drowned, where did the peddler come from and Lot with his cronies,(give me a break)? The same with sending out the raven, noah opened up a window as told by God and then the dove. Noah's wive showed herself as a 5'4" Almighty, that to me borders on blasphemy.I didn't like her acting as noah's wive at all, she behaved as a spoiled brat, not a person from those times. To me the son's and even Noah's wive didn't seem to share the faith Noah had for the Lord, although I didn't particular like the way he talked to God, and even the way God talked to noah didn't sound right. there seemed to be no respect. I'm sorry that there is a movie out like that. It cost me a night sleep, I don't recommend this movie at all, marianne

I bought this movie because I like biblical movies. However I did not realize this was a satire of Noah's Ark. I thought Jon Voight's depiction of Noah was silly. Purchasing this video, without reading a review of it was my fault, and I probably will not make that error again.
