No Name Face by Lifehouse (CD, Oct-2000, Dreamworks SKG)

This is, simply put, good listening. This band has it together and deliver mellow jams with deep lyrics. I listen to it almost every day.

This CD is really good - very original lyrics and sound. Definitely a keeper. I can't say all the songs are favorites but some like "Breathing" is one I'll listen to again and again for years to come. I don't have a lot of songs I say that about. :) Jan M.

This is one of the best, most inspirational CD's I have ever listened to. The lyrics are very powerful and have instilled hope in individuals I have shared them with.

I enjoy their vocals/lyrics. They have profound lyrics that deal with the issues of life. The music is electrifying. I enjoy all genre of music. I appreciate their style and expression of music. The group has a very unique sound and expression of lyrics. I bought the cd because I love the song "Everything". This song speaks volumes to the soul and spirit of a woman/man. I love the sound and music they used with this cut on the album.

I had to buy this CD because I recently heard the song "Everything" played at a church I went to. I bought the whole CD just for that song! I love it!

I like lifehouse in general, not every song they have is awesome, but this CD is there best still. I like the new one, I like to see how lifehouse has developed, and how Jason Wade's, lead singer, voice/style has developed over the years.
But the passion in this first CD, in the music and the lyrics are still unparalleled.
I still listen to the words, and think about the meanings of "Simon","Only One",Somewhere in between" just to name a few.
Anyways I have listened to them since 2000, and they are still good, buy the CD! lol

I love this CD!! "Hanging By A Moment" is one of my favorites, but I also like "Sick Cycle Carousel", "Trying","Unknown", and "Somebody Else's Song".The whole CD is good, but these songs stand out as being the best on here.I would definitely recommend it if you like Creed or Nickelback, because there is a similar sound, but the the lyrics on "No Name Face" are exceptional!!

I bought the cd for my wife because she loves Lifehouse and wanted the cd. So I just decided to go ebay to purchase one and got it on ebay. She was very happy when she opened it and know listens to it all the time.

Track number 12 is exceptionally good. It is very inspiring. The album cover and title is a bit weird, but the tracks or nice.

Fast, straightforward, fabulous. and the CD isn't bad either! and now i am supposed to write at least 100 characters.....

I bought the cd for the song Everything that is on it it is a great cd and I am enjoying it alot.There are several other songs on the cd that I like but Everything is a special song for me and I was glad to get the cd

This acoustic alternative cd is still their best outing. If you like the lead vocals, then this whole cd will be a blessing to you. It doesn't rock-out, but it is easy listening and thought-provoking.
Breathing is still their anthem. Sometimes instead of looking for spiritual experiences, we just need to sit at the feet of the One who provides them. Sometimes life's blessings come when we aren't looking for them or in strange ways.
Everything and Hanging by a Moment continue to be stand-outs as well. While every song on this cd is good, these few are obvious favorites.
Each of their follow-ups have only had a couple of good songs on each. While disappointing, one can always go back to this classic. It is good for reading background or something behind conversational scenes. It is good for meditation and introspection.

One song made this purchase completely worth it for me "Everything". Another great bonus is "Hanging by a Moment". I knew what songs were on this CD. I am a complete Lifehouse devote. If you are not familiar with the songs you will still enjoy the SEXY, soultry voice of Jason Wade. His voice and lyrics make you fall in love all over again, and imagine that fairytale ending just like when in Highschool. His voice wants to make you dance in rain and cry while enjoying a passionate kiss. BUY IT!! You will not regret it :o)

Wanted to see what people were listening to. There are a couple of well written songs and a few that need some more work. Not very rockin if you are looking for 3 doors down type rock. More like wallflowers without energy. I listen to several artist for comparison , tracking writing , mix. See UR1

It is a beautiful song and the whole CD is great!

Excellent vocals, well-written lyrics, and a tight sound. Not as much rock as I would like, but this band has the potential. Great for some lighter rock fans.

I gave this an average score ONLY because -Like some of you said so well- its good- Not great- it doesnt suck- its good.. as someone who knows music- These are great songs for traveling and hopeing to find a true love.. in the real world this is a christian rock/alternative CD - i'll bet you'll like it.. not love it - but like it..it will get good play then sit under your car seat for a few months till you find it again- play the hell out of it then give it to a good friend or christian cusin for christmas.. eh.

I love Lifehouse and was glad I took a chance to buy it here. It is in great shape and has a very clear sound.
