A wonderful Canadian novel
Alistair MacLeod weaves a wonderful story in "No Great Mischief". His imagery is phenomenal, and he digs into the "grit" of everyday life that would shy away many lesser authors. It's my opinion that this is his finest work, and I would include it in any top-10 list of Canadian novels.
