D.A.D. HEAVY METAL BAND FROM DENMARK THAT ONLY HAD ONE HIT IN THE STATES[SLEEPING MY DAY AWAY].D.A.D ORIGINALLY STOOD FOR DISNEYLAND AFTER DARK
BUT THEY HAD TO CHANGE THE NAME CAUSE GOOD OL' WALT THREW A FIT AND THREATENED A LAW SUIT SO NOW YOU HAVE JUST D.A.D. ANYWAY THE BAND IS STILL POPULAR IN DENMARK. CD HAS GREAT BASS AND RHYTHM GUITARS NOT BAD. I LISTENED TO THIS IN HIGHSCHOOL SO IT HAS A SOFT SPOT IN MY HEART. HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL ENJOY IT I DID AND KINDA STILL DO. THANK YOU

In a time when hair band music was becoming formulaic and redundant, soon to be replaced by grunge and alternative, D.A.D. maintained a distinctive sound that was reminiscent of metal's glory days. This album, "No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims", has some great songs; it's a shame that D.A.D. never had the kind of success they deserved. I bought this album for a friend who only had it on a well-worn cassette tape.

Most people haven't even heard of this group, D.A.D. They are a good rock band from the 80's and have a unique sound that's all their own. My fiancée introduced me to their CD, "No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims" recently, and I really liked it. Several of the songs still pertain to issues of today, and the title of this CD is very relevant to the current fuel crisis here in America. I highly recommend this band to anyone that likes the 80's rock sound. I hope this review helped you in some way.
