No Biting! by Karen Katz (2002, Hardcover)

This book has been a part of my daycare library for about 2 years now, and many times it has helped remind children of all ages what appropriate behavior is.

Rather than hitting, kicking, biting, spitting, and pushing, the book offers simple, realistic alternatives to what can be destructive and hurtful behavior.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who works with young children. The illustrations are large and colorful, and the text is very simple. Older children are often quite creative in coming up with other alternatives to hitting, kicking, and other such potentially hurtful actions as well.
