Early Willie at his best.
Long before Willie Nelson rocketed to fame as a country superstar, he was know primarily as a songwriter. This is an outstanding, surprising collection of his early work, and some of the songs he has written for others may surprise you. Everyone knew he wrong "Crazy" which was a huge hit for Patsy Cline, but Willie also wrote such classics "Nite Life", "Funny How Time Slips Away" and Faron Young's biggest hit, "Hello Walls".
This collection is fairly well annotated and comes at a bargain price. Any Willie fans should definitely have this in their collection.
