Nintendo Wii - Game console

I am a 46 year old mom and the Wii I purchased after waiting in line at Target overnight is for me ... LOL
I love my Wii and I think it is the best gift I have ever received. My daughter and I played all last night and the stress from the holidays is now desolved.
I highly suggest your purchase and the time it will encourage you to spend with your family. Beware of addiction and happy faces.

It is the item I ordered. No more, no less.
If I had bought it at a store I would have gotten the same thing for the same price.
It had no memory or additional games: just the basics.
That surprised me but then I was not familiar with the product.

I bought a like new wii console a very good price, the seller was very professional and kindly My only complaint was during bids because I had a hard competion with a professional buyers, that seemed that they bought as practising a sport. They've already bought several similar items

Great exercise for fun game! Use it a lot. It really gives you a work out while you're having fun. Doesn't seem like exercise at all. Would suggest anyone buy a Ninendo Wii - Game console...You will really be glad you did.

It is good exercise and gets us off the couch at night and doing something. I love the Wii Fit program and have purchased several other "games". My husband is addicted to the Tiger Woods golf game.

It is a very good system in that it actually gives quite a workout. The graphics are somewhat primitive and the system is slow. I am glad that I bought the system, I feel it is worth the money

I love my wii. It was used and it still was in great condition..I would recommend it to anyone. Me and my boyfriend have enjoyed battling the sports games and it is a good stress reliever. I cant wait to try different games on it.

The Wii is WONDERFUL. IT is honestly a game for everyone of any age. Our household ranges from the age of 2 to my parents(who frequently visit) who are well in their 50's. Everyone enjoys it. Even the 2 year old. Granted, she doesn't exactly understand what she is supposed to be doing, but she still loves to be "big" and play with everyone else. It is a good family game.

It's a Wii. What can i say? It doesn't compare to any other game console i've ever owned and I own quite a few. Of course each new console that comes out outranks the previous. The Wii, however, doesn't just outrank, it's a revolutionary idea that supercedes in every area. The most important area being against sedentary play time. It promotes constant movement for individuals. This ideology applies to the broad spectrum of the demographic it targets. Everyone.

My sons and I are addicted to xbox360 first person shooters...
My wife and daughters missed us. That's all changing. We added a Wii to our entertainment lineup, and suddenly our TV time has become a family activity time. No more of the youngsters headed to a tv in another room for the cartoon marathon de jour, or the older ones in the basement playing Xbox and mom and dad watching 2 1/2 men or some other equally inappropriate show, for kids, on the tube.

No, now it's the rest of us trying to beat the 5 yr old at bowling. Me getting my shorts handed to me on the tennis court by my 13yr old son, or my wife and I pretending we are getting younger by doing the fitness challenges. What's different is that we are doing it together. I'm not a big supporter of virtual life, but when it brings us together in real life, I can't argue it's benefits.

Best money I've spent on ebay this year.

The Wii Fit is a fun, interactive video game system. The controls are relatively easy to learn, and it brings gaming and fitness to a level of fun not experienced before. Using the controllers in the sports games requires some actual movement, so it makes video gaming less couch-potatoish, and a little more active.

I purchased a wii to see what all the fuss was about. I got a few games with it, paper mario, resident evil the umbrella chronicles, and super smash bros brawl. overall, the wiimote and nunchuk were either over sensitive (i.e. red steel) or not as responsive as they should have been (wii sports boxing).
for $250, the wii only brings 512mb of internal memory which can be expanded via sd card slots but i was annoyed to find that some game files (super smash bros brawl) could not be saved onto the memory card. Also, the PS3 and the Xbox 360 have dvd/cd players and can rip your music cd's onto the hard drives (which come in 20, 60, 120gb for the 360 and 40 and 80gb for the PS3) and use them as custom tracks to listen to while playing your games. The Wii is basically a much better marketed Gamecube. The way Nintendo produces limited quantities keep the Wii in demand, which avoids the Gamecube's overall failure. People argue that "oh the wii is interactive" but anything that you control the character or game in is interactive. Great concept but the games don't back it up. Wii games really only have 1st party support. Overall, the Wii is marketed and distributed in such a smart way, people don't see the reality of it. The Wii is worth (in my opinion) worth only $150, or $175 at maximum and should be priced as such. For the people who want to get a workout while playing, what happened to playing REAL baseball? What happened to teaching your kids how to play real golf? If you want to get in shape, go running, it's free and burns more calories in less time than the Wii. I'm not trying to convince people to not buy it but I'm just giving my honest opinion on the "console" and trying to better inform you. If you're wanting to buy one i can bet confidently that you don't intend to buy any other games, as it comes with the wii sports, and if you are trying to buy some more games the main one you want is the Wii fit. For those who want little for your buck, the Wii is a perfect idea. For people who want a more immersing gaming experience, go with a PS3 or 360, because games are like interactive movies now, beautiful with deep stories and a purpose.
