The Wii is overall a great system. The gameplay is very innovative and the controls are frankly amazing to be honest. I was very leary of the motion senstive game controls but they work almost without a hitch. The graphics are good, but not as powerful as Sony's or Microsoft's consoles. The gameplay makes up for the graphics and then some with how wonderful it is.

The Wii has some amazing features including the Internet channel, the weather channel, photo channel, Wii shop channel and my favorite the Mii Channel. Each one is a quick way to gather info via the WWW. They will also feature a News channel, but it hasn't quite launched yet. A big selling point to the Wii is the backwards capibility. It plays all Gamecube games off the bat, but the best part is the vitural console. You can go to the Wii shop channel (internet access required) and buy all the past games from different Nintendo systems. They even got a few other compaines on board. The virtual console has NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, and Turbograffix 16 games as of right now. They add new games every Monday to the console. Each game ranges in price for 5-10 bucks, so pretty reasonable for those games who which to relive there youth without having 5 or more consoles hooked up at any given time.

There are many great games available for the Wii already. Zelda the Twlight Princess is the most talked about, and it FANTASTIC!! Others include Excitetruck, Rayman, Call of Duty, Monkey Ball, and Red Steel. Many more great titles are expected soon as well, SMB Galaxies, Metriod Prime Corruption, Mario Party 8, Super Smash Bros Brawl and many more. Nintendo rarely disappoints when it comes to quality games, plus they have many 3rd party companies on board to help make some quality games.

Overall the Wii is a great system, it has had few glitches though. Nothing major, just a freeze up every now and again. I have not heard or had any major problems out of them. There was a recall on the strap for the Wiimotes, but Nintendo has taken care of that on all newer models.

Bottomline, for $250 bucks you won't find a better system. If you want great gameplay and innovation then choose a Wii. If you like graphics more than gameply then get a PS3 or 360. My money is with Nintendo though. Game On!!!
