Well, Nintendo has done it again. They've taken the initiative to think outside the box and they've come up with the motion-sensing remote. While the other competition is focused more on more powerful hardware and better looking graphics, Nintendo has focused on innovation and new ideas. The result? A unique system that brings new possiblities to gaming. Get a workout while playing ping-pong or going bowling on your Wii. No longer is gaming just for kids, now all age-levels have a reason to play video games: excercise! And it's fun too! Sure, the graphics haven't improved much and the hardware doesn't even begin to compare in processing power to the Xbox 360 or PS3, but those things don't seem to matter as much when you've got something the competition doesn't. I just wonder how long it'll be before Microsoft and Sony come up with some form of motion-sensing controller too?
Other factors to consider: The price is the lowest of all three systems. Setup is a breeze. The system is easy to use and probably the most reliable of all three (just watch out for that remote strap breaking... don't let go of the remote!). Overall I think this is an excellent system and would recommend it to anyone, although the 16-26 demographic would probably be happier with a 360 or PS3.
