The Nintendo Wii was a great idea. The Wii sports come free with the system, which are a lot of fun to play.. Even though they are not the most realistic graphics for the game, the idea that you can swing the bat just like you are playing a real baseball game. Tennis is a great one too, you can hit the ball, backhand and forehand.

The way it works is, there is a sensor bar that reads the movement of the controllers that gets placed right underneath your television. The sensor box is not that big, so it is not that noticeable when you are watching TV. The sensor bar allows the controller to respond wirelessly with up to four Wii Remotes. The Wii Remote will reach up to 30 feet.

I would suggest playing at least 5-10 feet away from anything in the room, especially for sports games, since you will be swinging the controller around a lot. You should make sure you wear the safety wrist strap since you do not want your controller going through your TV..That wouldn't be much fun. :)

If you are looking for a third generation system that shines with its graphics, the Wii would not be the system to get. If you are looking for a good party system, that you can play interactive video games together, you will really enjoy the Wii, over any other third generation system. The only negative thing about the Wii is that they do not have many popular games out for the Wii right now, as where the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 have those kind of games with better graphics. If you do not care about Graphics and just want a fun inexpensive system to play(comparing with the other two), I would go with the Nintendo Wii.

If you have any questions about this system that I did not mention here, please contact me, I would be more than happy to answer all of your questions about this system. If I did not mention a certain detail that you would like to know, just tell me and I will add it here.. Thank You
