Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP - Blue

I bought this for my daughter for her 9th birthday. She loves it and does love things that come from ebay!!!! My only problem was I wasn't aware this was coming from Israel and it showed up almost 2 weeks after her birthday. I guess this is my fault though because I didn't check to see where it was coming from. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase.

The game I recieved was OLD. The seller said it was used. It sure was. The screen is starting to go out (dimmer and dimmer). It's for my 4 year old so whatever. Gameboys in general are a great way to entertain your kids without having to deal with them.

The Good: Solid, compact design; extremely bright screen; removable long-lasting rechargeable battery; bargain price.

The Bad: Still no standard headphone jack; tiny shoulder buttons; most games are skewed toward kids.

The Bottom Line: Now that it has a brighter screen, Nintendo's Game Boy Advance SP is the budget champ for portable gaming

I bought this game for my son, since his last gameoy died on him. This item was described as having minor scratches on the cover, and all in all very good condition. I was VERY disappointed! The cover of the gameboy was in VERY bad shape, and all the info on the back side of it was scraped off. The gameboy does work, but for the price, I feel I was misled.

Charges to much for shipping. The seller charges $12.00 for shipping and only pays $2.49 through the post office and it took over a week an half to reach me. I am very displeased that roughtless to rip people off on shipping. Plus the ad didn't say that a charger was not included. My advice stay away till he gets his act together.

The price and games available were nice. Communication was great as was shipping. The GBA had more scratches on it than we had thought, but still within reason. This was my first ebay purchase and it was a great experience. Would purchase from him again!

I love the look of this device. The ability to switch from normal screen size of original and gameboy color screens to the size of the SP is a cool feature. It is ideal to go portable with and is innovative with it's style. The screen is spared because it is protected when stored. The game library is wonderful.

Wer have 7 kids and 5 of them are old enough for these! Game Boy SP's rock :) All the best games at hand held reach! Perfect for in between homework or chores! They earn these fun 3o minute breaks and treat them like the ultimate rewards! Game Boys SP are the best!

I love how the screen has a backlight so You can play in the dark. This truly has an old fashion game boy feel and everything that is different is changed for the better.

Also has a rechargable battery.

The Gameboy works fine however it freezes up alot and at times has to be turned off and on a few times for it to work. In the description it should have stated that it did NOT include a charger.

All three of my kids have a Nintendo Game Boy. I don't have a home gaming system and these really fill the nitch for my kids. They carry them in the car all the time. We have long trips everyday and they can play forever! We have lots of different games--most of which are old arcade games that I used to play when I was a kid. THEY LOVE THEM! You can't beat a good old game of Galaga or Tetris, you know? No blood, no guts and hours of quiet kids. How can you beat that?

I got this as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it. It works perfectly and just as described. I bought her a "Happy Feet" skin to cover up the scratches, so it's just like new. Thanks a lot. Great seller!

Fun to play, seems to hold up better than the newer Nintendo DS though the DS screen is a little larger and maybe clearer.

I HAVE BEEN VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE NINTENDO GAMEBOY ADVANCE SP. I HAVE BOUGHT ONE FOR 3 OF MY GRANDCHILDREN. THEY ARE 3,5,7 YEARS OLD AND ARE ABLE TO USE THEM AND FIGURE OUT THE BUTTONS TO PUSH. THEY ARE USER FRIENDLY. I HAVE BOUGHT DIFFERENT COLOR GAMEBOYS. LOVE THE COLORS BLUE AND BLACK( THE GUN METAL LOOK. THE SIZE IS SMALL ENOUGH TO FIT EASILY IN MY PURSE TO TAKE ON TRIPS, TO APPTS(WAITING ROOMS), ALSO SMALL ENOUGH FOR LITTLE HANDS. THEY ARE USED FREQUENTLY IN THE CAR. I LIKE THAT THE VOLUME CAN BE TURNED DOWN OR OFF WHEN ALL THREE KIDS ARE USING AT THE SAME TIME. THE KIDS HAVE LEARNED HOW TO PUT IN THE CARTRIDGES, KEEP CLEAN AND CHANGE THEM. THE ITEM IS VERY USER FRIENDLY. IT SEEMS THAT THEY STAY CHARGED FOR QUITE A LONG TIME BEFORE RECHARGING. I SURE CAN'T COMPLAIN ON PRICE WHEN BUYING THRU E-BAY. THIS IS AN ITEM I WOULD RECCOMEND TO OTHERS.
