Nintendo Game Boy Advance Limited Edition - Platinum

Game boy worked fine. However, the battery back plate was missing and was not mention in the listing. I was disappointed because of this.

I bought this for my son who is starting to get into video games. I love the product because of the special features like the light, and adapter. I also like gameboy Advance for the accecibility of the purchase of games.

This item was in like new condition and was so well taken care of I could not believe it had even been used!!! This item was one of the best items I have ever purchased on eBay and what made it even better was the aftermarket backlight that made it super easy to play in the dark...and made it easy for my daughter to watch her gameboy movies on!! I bought this as a Christmas gift for my youngest daughter and it was better than some of the newer ones out right now!!! A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Item is in perfect shape. Like new!It does not have a backlight. It will use original GameBoy games, and Gameboy color, and gameboy advance games.

i used to have one of this, but it broke, that's why i decided to get me a new one. .

This system is definitely one of the classic systems to have if you can find the time to own it and keep it in shape. It plays all of the Gameboy games(NOT DS) and it fits comfortably in your hands. The screen is not backlit, but it gets pretty good battery life, and the number of titles playable is awesome. I love the system, and having a platinum one makes no difference. I would suggest buying one!

A cool cable setup to connect your GBA to your Gamecube. I highly reccomend using a GBA SP, however. The original GBA isn't backlit and can make it difficult to scroll through menus. Otherwise, I like it.

It is an excellent game system for younger children because it is small. It has a good variety of games. The only thing I didn't like was how dark the screen is without a game light. I wasn't aware it needed one to see the games better. Otherwise I would recommend it. I ordered it for my 5 year old.

My boys love too play it.It was a good price i got it for and they loved it.My boys needed a new one too replace one of their that was missing.

The game was dirty and the screen was scratched( even though the seller stated it was new) The light on the game is poor. Very hard to see. I suggest moving to the next level.

I purchased this gameboy for my grandson because it keeps him entertained since it's not a game that has to be hooked up to the tv. He can take it with him everywhere. It's also a great 'punishment' tool when he misbehaves. Seriously, he loves this game over the one's that hook up to the tv sets. The games themselves are a bit expensive at the store, so purchasing them on ebay like I did the gameboy itself is the only way to go. This gameboy was slightly used, but works perfectly so no complaints from me on this product.

silver is the best color for the gameboy advance. the bad thing is that you have to keep buying aa batteries. my recommendation is to buy 4 rechargeable batteries and charger, in the long run it will be much cheaper. and yes, the screen is rather dark for some reason. but its half the price of the sp so i dont care.

Not long ago, my 8 yr old son was sitting in the front room of our home playing his(old)Game Boy. All was well- and then this most blood curdleing scream followed by crying was heard through the house! My son came and showed his game system to me...the screen behind the face plate was shattered. The system was dead... "How did this happen?" he was asked. Something about the cat, a chair, the flood...not sure all the details. But I do know this boy was upset. (We kept the cat hidden for a few days.) The search began for a replacement for the broken electronic babysitter.

We live in a rather remote area..small beach town on the west coast. Not too many stores that carry these kinds of products. But as the adds say- 'you can find anything on E-Bay!'. As an old gamer, since Pong, I have always loved systems. I have the NDS, PSP, and lately the older systems, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Advance SP.

I never owned the Game Boy series, that was for kids...........I thought!

I like new graphics with all the bells and whistles, but sometimes it is just fun to "play the old way" with the Game Boy systems.

I especially like the GBA, the width, sound and controls just feel right. I purchased a small light attachment and found it very useful and adds a little old schoolness to the system.

As an adult, I can see why these systems caught on so well and kids enjoyed them so much. I am just beginning to enjoy, what is now just as much fun as I'm sure was enjoyed years ago.

If you own a DS, it's fun to look back, how it all began with Nintendo and play the other systems, easily purchase on eBay. They have ones with new screens and in clean condition, amazingly. I highly recommend trying one out, just to relax, unwind and enjoy the past a little, with a great piece of history that will live on, a long time. I believe they are all great to collect, to play and just to look at and compare sizes, weights and controls.

THe item was just as described. Perfect condition and fast shipping. Game Boy's have changed over the years and the older models are obsolete for most people. I have no need a just out model. The game boy advance I purchased is in great shape and works wonderfully.
