Top Reviews Good Christmas Gift!Review created: 12/23/09  5 of 5 people found this review helpful. I bought a DS Lite for my wife for Christmas. We decided to open presents early since we are traveling. She literally hasn't put it down since she got it. Today she has been up since 6:30 am playing New Super Mario Bros. Pros: Good selection of fun games Games and accessories are (relatively) inexpensive compared to Xbox 360, PS3 Able to play DS and Game Boy Advance games, which mean there's 1000's of games to choose from (and GBA games are even cheaper than DS games) Good battery life, battery is rechargeable Able to customize with new cases, etc. Cons: You will spend less time with the person playing the DS. I recomend the DS Lite over the regular DS, or the DSi. The DS apparently doesn't have all the features of DS Lite, and DSi cannot play Game Boy Advance games, making the DS Lite the most cost effective choice.
