i have to admit, i bought this game just based on the cover and the title. "ninjabread man"? how could it NOT be awesome?

unfortunatley, while it was a great idea, it wasn't carried out well. there are only 3 small and similar levels, and the controls are horridly frustrating- there is a serious lag between when you swing your wiimote and the character sings his little candy cane sword, so you have to anticipate several seconds ahead of when the muffin monsters attack. jumping and camera shots are equally irritating. i TRIED to like it, but only ended up seriously frustrated. i can't imagine giving this to a child, as i'm sure it'd induce tears.

Cute game but hard to control

It's a cute game. Basically you are the Ninjabread Man and you have to save Candy Land from being taken over by evil cupcakes & such.

I give it 3 stars because it's hard to control him. He never swings his sword when he needs to and always ends up being killed. It's annoying and I haven't been able to get past the first level. You have to use both controllers and you use your left hand to make Ninjabread Man jump, so that took some getting used to. :o( Also the camera angle gets weird lot and I find myself pressing the down button on the d-pad frequently to see where I'm going.

Perhaps I need more practice.

I will update this when I get a better feel for the game. I've only had it a few days.

My son purchased this game and after about 10 minutes, he decided he didn't like and we sold it to someone else on half.com.

I think that the game is fairly simple to play. Some of the controls can be a little difficult at times. I bought this for my 8 year old daughter, and she loves it! The graphics are really cute and funny!

  Short Game

I really like the game play, I think it's similar to Super Mario Galaxy in the movement. I beat the game in under 2 hours because there are only 3 levels and a tutorial. It's a cute kids game so it's worth saving for a rainy day.

Ninjabread Man - Great Concept falls Short
Review created: 10/17/09
by:

Yesterday we received "Ninjabread Man" in the mail. The first time playing it we got very fustrated in the fact that no matter what you did with the wiimote, the design of this game would always contradict the wiimote and nunchuk's actions. We also played it today and after getting highly fustrated with the game not responding very well with the wiimote/nunchuk .

The designers had a great concept but didn't actually follow through once making the game. The view rotates and it can't be stopped. Want to kill those cookie monsters? Even if you follow the instructions and swing the wiimote the right away the chances you'll die before you get to kill your enemy are very great.

Ninjabread Man is a waste of money unless you have superior patience.

The good news is once I find this the box for this, I can regift it for Christmas.

Get one for FREE!!! Have a look at this video first:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFKYVE__Mug

Just take 2 minutes and read this. This is very EASY to do! It literally
takes 10 minutes to setup. Simply follow the steps below. I promise you,
this is 100% real. I will answer you on any question! Here is what you
do. Click on the link below, register, pick an account type (referral is
the easiest) and complete just 1 offer (Very important that you complete
the 1 offer otherwise your account will sit in limbo until you do). This
is not like other sites where you need to complete one offer on 2 or 3
different pages!!! And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with
nothing else to buy...No commitments!!!

There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster
online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would
regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not use
them to get a free PS3 System or cash (I did the Stamps.com for a 30 day
free trial and it never cost me a penny and I received credit for it the
same day). Look at the offers and choose the one that works for you.
After signing up and completing your one offer, simply refer 8-13 people
(depending on the FREE prize you choose) to do the same under your link
(just post the same thing as I have on eBay, and you'll get your
referrals before the auction even ends.)

Then they will ship your PS3 System or your selected item for free, I
chose the PS3 80gb System. No Joke, 100% REAL!!! The reason these
companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all
the referrals. All you have to do is post it ! They use us as
advertisement by word of mouth which saves them tons of money which goes
toward yours and my free gift. These are legit companies such as
Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly etc... You can copy my listing if you
want. You must use your own authentic link though. You will get your own
personal link after your orders placed.

Step 1: Click this link http:
http://www.YourPS34free.com/index.php?ref=5173274

Step 2: Sign up and chose an account type (Referral is the easiest and
best).

Step 3: Complete just 1 offer (like Blockbuster or Stamps.com) and refer
up to 13 people to do the same (use eBay! Do what I did, copy my ad).

Step 4: Receive your PS3 System for FREE!!!!!!!!!! (Even The Shipping Is
Free!!!)

For proof that this is for real, click on the link below. It's the
company that is behind everything.

If you have any questions feel free to message me!! I'll Respond ASAP.
If you want hints/tips about the whole process, I'd be happy to fill you
in.

Please take advantage of this offer!!!
