Description
As Ryu Hayabusa you are out to seek revenge after your clan is massacred by the Vigor Empire. Realistic battle actions and acrobatic ninja moves are at your finger-tips. You play with only your wits, your ninja skills, and your deadly sword. Slice down opponents in the Vigor Empire as you attempt to beat the Holy Emperor and reclaim the magic sword "Ryuken".

Bringing the classic to the PlayStation 3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a more "complete version" of the Xbox Team Ninja title, with new moves, actions, and weapons for Hayabusa. Also added is a new playable character -- Racheal, one of the series' heroines, will be playable, and when using her, you'll get to experience the storyline from her perspective (with new cutscenes, attack moves and more.)

        Amazing!

I have or have had all of the non-sports PS3 games since launch. This is definitely in my top three, maybe even my favorite! It's fast-paced and very challenging from the starting line. The graphics are great, sound amazing, and there are loads of moves and techniques to master as you progress. It's highly addictive. Play only if you have some time to lose, but it's well worth it. :)

        Impossible Difficulty

Anyone growing up in the old NES glory days will remember Tecmo's: Ninja Gaiden for it's extremely difficult games.

And let me tell you, there's no Game Genie this time...
This game is just as "hard" as the first 2 (at least) and i just gave up on the difficulty.

Sorry Tecmo, but gamer or novice, i don't understand how people can battle 200 ninja's all flipping into the locked room, in turn, and come out of there alive!
      Talk about ridiculous!!
I hate those games where characters in a room/scene/corridor never "stay dead", as it were.
For example: You can wander yourself into a LOCKED room filled with, say, 10 ninja's at max...beat them up, and for every ONE that you killed, 2 MORE flip into the screen...soon the "GAME OVER" screen apprears to tell you that, after 45 mins of battle in the same room, and after killing about 257 ninjas, you didn't have what it took to move-on to the next level...

I know it's a video game, but it that's your idea of difficulty, don't even make a game with nice scenery....create a ninja in a White, dimension-endless, 'Matrixy' room, and just fight those 257 ninjas that keep piling in!
      That's not difficulty...that's just nothing-better-to-do.
