The Team Ninja-developed title is a 3D action game that makes full use of the DS's most standout feature: the stylus. The entire game can be controlled almost entirely with the touch-based motions. You guide Ryu about the play field by tapping in the direction you'd like to go. Slashing the touch pen from down to up makes Hayabusa launch an enemy into the air, into a perfect position for combos. You make Hayabusa jump by tapping the screen twice, and can then point to enemies to shoot shurikens at them and perform a downward thrust attack. Even your ninja arts make use of the stylus, requiring that you draw shapes in order to perform the special attacks. Buttons are used only for defensive moves. Special Features

Reviews I'm an RPG type of guy, so I don't usually like games like this. But I was at a GameStop one day and they had a demo for this game which you could play with and I had to have it. The game is fun, challenging, and easy to use. I have to admit I was expecting the story line to be a bit cheesy but its actually quite good. Though the story is so minor compared to the great action fighting. The amazing graphics, great stylus touch screen control, and ambient sounds make this game remarkably fun to play. You won't be able to put this one down. Review ID: 10000000008044521 Was this review helpful? Had to put the game down for the final Boss, can't even come close to beating her.... Excellent graphics, and some of the best score I've ever heard, made even more impressive when headphones are on and you can hear all the the subtlties. They both are WI-FI for easy wireless connection with other DS competition. Review ID: 10000000006825659 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
