I had purchased this game for my 9 year old son. My older son who's 22 also enjoys this game. Very cool graphics, fun/challenging! Would definitely recommend! The main reason I made this purchase was the awesome deal the seller was giving to ebayers! A+

This game has a unique gameplay using the NDS touch screen. It is very fun to play and pass time. No other game like this one.

This game is so much fun to play. Even if you only have a few minutes to hack and slash ememies this is the game for you! It's fairly mindless, but what it lacks in depth it makes up for in pure enjoyment. You can buy this new from Best Buy for roughly $20, so if you can find it like new for around $10 do not pass it up. Happy slashing!

I played this game on my ps3, and I have to tell you that the graphics and the gameplay on the DS, are great. is really fluid, but I wish they have done a game that makes use of the D-pad and the A B X Y buttons, and maybe to have the game on a horizontal view instead of holding it like a book. they should have that as option, I would love to see a new game created exclusive to the DS console, maybe by reviving the ninja gaiden classic on NES. that would be nice. a more modern version of it. Great Game!!!

The old Ninja Gaiden is back with this newly made ninja gaiden game.
Its allot of fun and is as good as the first one that came out for the SNES.
Graphics are intense and your abilities as the Ninjas are unsurpassed compared to the old school game.

This game was absolutely amazing. It uses the NDS in a very uniue manner, which, surprisingly is extremely convenient. The missions do get repetitive at times, but, if your like me, there's so much fun in obliterating the enemies with all the incredible techniques that the repetition is almost welcome. I highly recommend buying this game, its one of a kind and extremely fun

This is the best use of the DS touch screen I have ever played. The game mechanics get a little repetitive at times, but then jumps into puzzles and other fighting styles that make the game interesting. I recommend this to anyone who likes hack and slash, action and rpg.

Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (Nintendo DS) is a must have for anyone with a DS. The graphics very impressive and the controls are a wonderful change of pace and a delight. You hold the DS sideways (you hold the DS as if you were playing Brain Age 1&2) and the ENTIRE gameplay is done with the stylus. You tap on the screen in the direction you want the character to walk/run, you draw in an upward motion to jump, you draw lines (horizontal and/or diagonal)for your attacks and you draw out the signs of the magic in order to use the magic. Definitely a must have!!!!!

I love this game, one of the greatest things to hit the NDS! colorful smooth graphics, and great interaction, especially love the book style handling, definitely a must have, i hear it gets boring quick, but the intensity makes up for that, i think.

Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword. I decided to buy this game because of the graphics as well as the use of the touch screen.

Pros:
It has great visuals, decent sound effects, it's portable (lol), and it's a Ninja Gaiden game.

Cons:
The controls aren't bad, but the visuals are turned to the side, so you are required to hold the DS like a book as you play. Thankfully, almost everything uses the stylus.

Oh, and this isn't a con, but it may be a hurtle for some: You need a working microphone!

Pros
It completely utilizes the touchscreen, combat/gameplay is engaging using the stylus to slash/shoot/flip/roll/and get the drop on enemies. Graphics are very well done. 3D graphics, bosses in general look amazing. Great graphics considering the DS's graphics ability. Good story to hold up the game but not too much talking and the start button can be used to skip most of the speeches if you don't want to read. Music matches scenery different music theme for each area.
Cons
The game is a little on the easy side in Normal- a solid gamer can go through it in less than ten hours but the difficulty after finishing can be upped. Top screen is only used for map and the tutorial text in the beginning.

This is the type of game that any hardcore DS fan needs. Great graphics, good sound, well made story and outstanding gameplay. Inovative.
