The last two books had me wondering whether I really wanted to start on number nine. I'm glad I did! Evanovich, thankfully, left out exploding cars and funeral home visits with Grandma Mazur,& flaky past FTA friends, but there was so much more going on in this book. A new type of Stephanie is slowly emerging, not only brain wise in capturing FTA's but wiser on men in general. The trip to Vegas was hilarious....airport security with Lula and Connie in tow is worth the read not to mention the Elvis impersonators. Got to really love Lula in this one, more than usual. She puts a whole new spin on the Atkins diet trying to get supermodel thin. Lula? This book is worth the read. I am now looking forward to the 10th book and hope it doesn't disappoint since Janet now has Steph looking like a real bounty hunter for a change. Slowly but surely....she'll get there!

Strphinie Plum is at it again. This is a fast paced easy to read laugh out loud book. Janet Evanovich is a excellent writer bringing the unspoken thoughts to into the situations perfectly. Absoultly another one of her laugh out loud books.

Stephanie Plum is a female bounty hunter and her adventures in this book had me laughing out loud, right from the beginning, in the first three pages. The action takes place in Trenton, New Jersey. The author accurately and vividly describes the culture and the setting in New Jersey. I really enjoyed the personalities of the supporting characters in the book, especially Stephanie's side kick, Lula, a black plus-size woman who was a former prostitute. The description Ms. Plum's Victoria's Secret shopping test for her male partners is a delightful observation about male psychology. Some of the action takes place in Las Vegas and the reader gets the entertainment of another whole story within the main story of the book. This is an easy read and very entertaining.

Another of Janet Evanovich's very funny Stephanie Plum novels in her series. Lots of good, deep laughter in her series!

Janet Evanovich does it again -- Stephanie Plum keeps getting into scrapes and then finding her way out. The writing is funny, fast-paced, delightful -- everyting you expect from Evanovich!

This was a great deal. I bought two books plus shipping and it was still cheaper than one book at a store!

I have never read books that kept me laughing as hard as these. They are funny, romantic, and have lots of action in them as well.
Stephanie Plum, bounty-hunter. She's got all the normal concerns in life: the rent, her family, men; yet all of her concerns are topped by the minor fact that someone is usually trying to kill her.

I bought this book because it was recommended for my book group. None of us in the group cared for the book as we felt it was pure slapstick. The only positive was that it is good for a summer read that requires nothing from the reader. Personally, I did not enjoy the characters dysfunction and baseness of their lives. It was definitely not a "feel good" book.

Stephanie has a way of falling once again into the most sticky of situations and causing you laugh as she risks her neck on the line.

The Plum series is silly but well written where the story puts you in New Jersey and the anticks of Stephanie the bounty hunter are somewhat far fetched but the whole series is about her trials and tribulations in capturing the people who neglect to show up for their court hearings and the bail bondsmen hire bounty hunters to track them down. It's very light mindless reading but entertaining, especially if you grew up at the Jersey Shore.

I enjoy these books and was pleased to receive them in such good shape and excellent packaging. This was an assortment of the author's titles and were all that I would have purchased if I had picked them individually. Very nice picks.

To The Nines, by Janet Evanovich

I LOVED this book!!! Couldn't put it down. The books get better and better.
In this one, Steph seems to have grown up--she's acting more like a grown-up woman than a teeny-bopper in an I-Love-Lucy script.
She and Morelli get hot 'n heavy in the sex department and really steam up the pages while she's chasing her next perp, Samuel Singh. He skipped, with his passport visa quickly running out, and gives Steph the slip as well as danger and adventure at every twist and turn. Joe Morelli and Ranger team up and take turns following her (to save her from winding up in the morgue).
Singh leads Steph, and her entourage of wacky, but lovable, characters, to Las Vegas, right into the middle of an Elvis impersonator convention, where she and her 'assistant', a 250 pound X-ho, super-model wanna-be, Lula, and office manager, Connie make a mockery of bounty hunting--AGAIN.
Valerie, Steph's 'perfect' sis, finds herself pregnant with Albert Kloughn's child, and...well...you'll just have to read the book.
It's a fast-and-easy, laugh-out-loud, can't-put-down, constant-action book.
It's wonderful and I guarantee you'll LOVE it!!!
