A bit dated, copyright 1995, but terrific insight into the lives of Islamic women. Writing is very good. I chose to read all Geraldine Brooks has written since reading "March". She does not disappoint. The author has lived in the Middle East and her experiences and research appears to be right on. She keeps you engaged in her reporting. Much of what she writes about has been reported in other media and, therefore, the honesty of her writing is affirmed. I recommend this book.

Book in great condition, fast delivery to FPO address. Would buy from vendor again. I decided to buy this book because it has been one of my favorites and I wanted to own my own copy. Thank you

School BookThis dealer was easy to find, I did not have to search for it and there was a buy now price which I love about ebay. I am not one to gamble/bid, so the buy now makes it easy and fun for my to purchase with. I had to buy the book because my dog ate my original one and the campus bookstore want 15 bucks for the book.
