Nikon Super Coolscan 4000 ED Film Scanner (35 mm)

Grâce à ce scanner quasiment professionnel par ses performances et sa vitesse, tous les vieux souvenirs "papier" et diapo seront visibles sur l'ordinateur d'un simple clic.
Il est presque aussi bien que le coolscan 5ED ou 5000ED et moins cher donc adapté aux pauvres particuliers qui ne veulent pas confier leurs négatifs et diapos.
On arrive tout de même à sortir environ 40 diapos à l'heure et 50 à 60 photos de négatifs juste avec les composants de base (et avec un peu d'entrainement !).
Le logiciel de retouche demande un peu d'expérience pour être efficace.

I bought this to replace an older Nikon LS-2000 slide scanner. I have several thousand old slides inherited via deceased relatives to scan for extended family &, so far, it is a much better scanner than the LS-2000. Higher quality images & less fiddling required to have consistently good scans using my old SF-200 batch scanner (bought years ago with the LS-200 & works fine with the 4000!). Buying it used on ebay saved me a lot of money. 4000 works fine with the firewire on my xw9300 workstation and on my nw8440 laptop. I'm a fan of using Photoshop with the NikonScan software but it's not really necessary. The NikonScan software is much improved over the version I can use with the old Scsi based LS-2000.
In short, highly recommended, especially with an SF-200 or SF-210 batch scanner.

I have bought Nikon Super Coolscan 4000 ED more then a month ago. I ve choosed from some models (epson, miniolta) and how i understand Coolscan 4000 ED is the best thing you can have. Because Coolscan 5000 is more expencive but resolution is the same as 4000ed. All my films now in the best resolution and its very nice when you can see your favourite fotos on the wall with dementions like 120*90cm.
