Outstanding wide for 4x5
I shot tests with eight different brands and types of 65mm for use with a 4x5 monorail-- of them the Fuji was the most contrasty, the Schneider was sharpest in the center, but this Nikkor SW was the sharpest in the corners and overall. If you need movements wide open this is a huge factor, if you don't really use much movement OR if you stop down a lot, then almost any of the lenses will exceed the ability of your film to resolve detail, but if you have a monorail, bag bellows, shooting at sunset using an extreme rise and shift to get the reflection of the setting sun off of a mirrored building-- this design has the edge.
