Nikon Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 Lens

This lens has an easy manual focus and a decently fast aperture. It works well with my D40. The lens is much more rugged than any kit lens.

I love this lens because it is very precise and crisp for every photo I shoot on my D90. Its like magic with every click from the shutter button I never have to go back and re-take any pictures with this lens. Not to mention the auto focus is very fast. Im very happy that i purchased this lens it looks like its going to be staying on my camera for a long time. Another thing I love about this lens is the fact that i dont have to stand far away from any object(s), not like my 50mm F/1.8. if your thinking about getting this lens I highly recommend it, No Regrets here!!!

I was advised to buy a prime lens by a professional photographer. I was shopping for a wide-angle lens at the time. The lens is wonderful: it takes sharp pictures and has a metal rather than a plastic body. It makes me reexamine today's lenses which have plastic bodies. The lens is also in excellent shape and arrived quickly.

I really like the nikon 24mm 2.8lens ,for my d80 camera.But it's small and wide angel lens.It's very suit for night shotting.thank you
