Nikon D80 Digital Field Guide by David D. Busch (2007, Paperback)

This publication is a very easy guide to follow. It has a lot of needed detail and explanation that is needed by a newcomer to the D80. I am not a electronic geek, and have never been able to retain details for long periods of time so this manual will be with me on all my photo trips. I did find that it did not explain certain functions as well as I needed and had to refer back to the camera manual to cifer some details (particularly in the Custom Settings Mode). I bought the guide because I could not understand the camera manual on certain items, and the manual print was so small I had trouble reading it. The Busch guide is a great item for the novice and mosre experienced D80 owner.

As a self-confessed victim of manualphobia, I have always been uncomfortable with the layout of the paperwork for my D80 which I love. I bought this book hoping that it would make things easy enough that all I really needed to worry about was what I wanted to do - which is take pictures, I can honestly say it did this very well and the book is great! I would highly recommend it to those seeking the easiest way to understanding their Nikon D80 in the way it deserves!

A good compliment to the Manuual that came with the camera. Easy to understand and all pictures are in color, notblack and white as in the Camera's manual.

This book offers clear concise information in an easy to understand format. Instead of needing a Master's degree to read the instruction manual you can use this book to find the best techniques to use the Nikon D80 to achieve the pictures you want. I have enjoyed by D80 since the day I took it out of the box but this manual has helped me to enjoy it even more!
