This is my first DSLR and I must admit, I don't think I could've made a better choice in camera. The D80 feels great in my hands, the weight is just right and the pictures are tack sharp! I also bought an external flash (Speedlight SB-600) and that is and outstanding flash. This camera has loads of features so reading the manual would be vital. Make sure that you buy quality lenses or your shots won't be as "crisp" as the could be. I have nothing but HIGH PRAISE for the Nikon D80. You'll pay a little more but it's worth every penny!!
