This is the second book of this type that I have purchased. The first was for my trusty D80 and it made a HUGE difference in the way I use and understand digital photography. This book is no different. It goes about explaining the D300 in a way that is easy to follow, plus there are tips and drills to help you improve you photography. The owner's manual is thick enough to make you shake your head and put it down and just wade in and hope for the best. You'll like the way this book is easy to follow, interesting and and put into terms that won't make you feel like you need a dictionary. Not only that it has lots of little things that help you to understand the camera...like color pictures! Hey...and it is cheap to boot!
