Nikon D2xs/D2x by Kevin Spreekmeester (2007, Paperback)

I like the size and binding. Its not much better than the factory instructions. I find the flash off tip excellent, the rest of the box was needlessly wordy. Following directions had me going back and forth in the box to re-read the directions. Some questions were left unanswered concerning ultra-violet and using infrared. My original D-1 was great on this.

Very disappointed with this book. First of all it seems to be an exact copy of the camera manual, it doesn't cover any of the advanced settings and their practical use in the field. Second the size of the book is very small and hard to read and the worst thing is that it's all with black and white pictures only can you imagine!!!! I've had camera guides from the 60's that had color pictures in them and now it is 2009 and a price of $19,95
This book is a wase of money either way you look at it. Never again a Magic lantern guide. Buy instead a camera guide from Wiley Publishing, however they do not have one for this camera.
