Nikon Coolpix S550 10.0 Megapixel

I bought this camera just before leaving for a trip around Europe (mostly Italy) for 6 weeks. I have taken at least 1500 pictures thus far, and by and large they are great. The one thing that is quite disappointing is the electronic vibration reduction. If you have trouble taking clear pictures because of unsteady hands or you are frequently taking pictures while moving on trains, planes, or autombiles, than this is probably not the camera for you.

Also, while it is cool that I can take 10 megapixel pictures, unless I am going to blow them up to be 20x25 posters, it really doesn't make a difference above 5 megapixels. That being said....I am taking everything on 10 megapixel just in case I want to blow it up. So it's nice to have the option open.

In the "makes me oh so happy" category is the easy to use menus and the panorama assist. I have taken MANY panoramas that have turned out looking professional thanks to the panorama assist.

This camera is amazing. I had so much fun playing with it and figuring out all the stuff it can do. Cameras have come along way since i purchased my first digital camera 4 years ago. The clearity of the picture is something truley wonderful. When you look at the pictures its almost like you looking at the real thing. i love this camera and all its features. My favorit is the smile mood. The cameral will automatically take the picture once the subject is smiling. You can also add people to a favorit list on the camera and the camera will recongize that person and focus mainly on them. This camera is truley amazing and worth every penny.

Love this camera, always takes sharp amazing pictures! would recommend this camera to anybody ;) has many settings, it can catch red eye, and its fairly duable. has the ability to take photos and videos, comes in a variety of colors!, never had anything to complain about it ;)

i wanted to buy a camera for travelling purposes and i know that nikon is one of the best brands around. so i decided to find something new with alot of items and availabilities so i can use it as much as i want. the price was very reasonable and the seller was excellent. thanks to ebay!!

I just recently got the camera and for a while, I've been holding off on purchasing one. I actually have a Sony Cybershot and I compared everything, it seems like the Nikon performs better than my Sony. My wife definitely loves the Nikon.

The slick design, battery management and clarity of the pictures are some qualities that makes me happy with this purchase. The pictures I took is much clearer and brighter than the Sony Cybershot. Including the night photos where it's clear and bright when I use the Nikon. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Sony fan, but I would suggest to get Nikon for Camera.

It's a very nifty camera and is very useful for family shots and pretty good for making high quality claymation videos.

I love my new camera. It's light weight and very good quality. The best camera I have ever purchased. It has many features Im not sure how to use yet but as soon as I take time to read all about them I will be loving that too. I definantly recommend to anyone.

The camera is in like new condition. Great deal and two day delivery after purchasing. I am replacing a S210 Coolpix that was stolen along with my GPS. This is a 10 megapixel compareed to the 8.1 on the S210 so I expect better pictures.

I like everything about it, easy menu, good LCD, Quick focus. Just all around good camera. I also like the 10MP, Makes it easy to enlarge.

This is a beautiful and convenient camera next to the L20. The only drawback is the battery which is rechargeable and fairly expensive. However, if you prefer green cameras, there are none better. If you want the convenience of AA batteries, get a L20. You can still get rechargeable AAs. The lens is what counts and this one is terrific.

i wanted a camera which was easy to use but was also intelligent and had many options. this camera has it all, the battery life is good, SO MUCH easier than using rechargeable or straightforward batteries. the playback cleverly has more editing options. the intelligent extra flashes before taking pictures in certain modes completely removes red eye by making the pupils smaller, how great is that!? i was a little wary of buying a camera off ebay as i previously tried to buy the exact same camera with a different seller and it was a nightmare, with this seller there was excellent communication, VERY VERY VERY fast shipment and arrived perfectly. you also get a choice in colour which is pretty cool. honestly im so impressed with this whole transaction and its practically a steal at just over £100!! now if only you sold laptops haha no but seriously im very happy with this, thanks so much!
