Nikon Coolpix S220 10.0 Megapixel

I needed a camera to carry around in my purse. I have a Nikon D40 for my serious shots but that's not a camera you can carry with you day to day. This camera is so tiny it just fits (with camera case included). It takes pretty good pictures. They do have some noise in them so might want to make small adjustments in photo shop but for a point and shoot, I can't complain. All point and shoots have noise. It's the draw back for convenience. It will never replace my DSLR but it comes in handy as a day to day, don't want to miss that shot, camera. Like all point and shoots, it's not the quickest at taking a picture. There is a few seconds lag but that's the draw back of all point and shoot camera's. But I'm very happy that I purchased it. It's fun to use and it can go anywhere with you. Would easily fit into a shirt pocket. Small and cute. Isn't that the point of a point and shoot? And above all, it's a Nikon. I absolutely love all Nikon products. I have stuck with Nikon for years and have never been disappointed. They have amazing products.

i purchased this camera for my 14 year old and she loves it. very user friendly the quality of the pictures are amazing as well as the video. the speaker on the camera isnt the loud but then again it's just a digital camera....once again great camera that takes amazing photos and she can put it in her purse and take it everywhere.

i bought this camera for my girlfriend and she uses it on a daily basis now. her pictures come out great. the camera has facial recognition software so it enhances quality on people's faces. it also has a blink detector which will detect whether a person blinked in the picture or not and asks if you want to take another one. useful because i have a habit of blinking all the time in pictures... genetics? anyways great camera, really slim, lightweight and very user friendly. i have no complaints and the finish and build quality seem right on par for what you pay with nothing sticking out as being obviously cheap.

This was an excellent value. I got the camera, a memory card, extra re-chargable battery, tripod, etc. - for less than what I would have paid at a local camera store for the camera alone. And no sales tax!

The camera takes beautiful pictures - and it's easy to use. Also does short videos with sound. There's a bunch of cables so you can hook it up to the computer or the TV. The memory card reader was sort of redundant for me, since my computer has a slot to directly insert SD cards.

The leather case is absolutely wonderful. It's authentic Nikon brand. It fits the camera perfectly, and the leather is high quality. It's rigid, so it protects the camera.

Also got a coupon for 50 free prints, but I haven't used that yet. And a free magazine subscription, but it's too early for the first issue to have arrived.

The seller shipped the item super fast, and I had it several days earlier than expected. I would definitely purchase other items from this vendor.

the communication with the seller was impecabe.....but the product wasnt quite the same......i bought a digital camera that even thiough it took the picture it was showing on the screen very funny......the seller did try to do everthing to correct the situation but it did not work.....

I just need a small carry around camera and this is perfect, they send it right away receives the package in less than five days.

I love this camera! I had one just like it and lost it so I went onto eBay at my sister's suggestion. The price was much lower than had I gone to the store. AND the camera was brand new: never before out of the box. There were no shipping costs yet the packaging was in an expensive style. No short-cuts taken by the seller. Time of delivery was very speedy. Everthing about the camera and my experience getting the camera was excellent. The only downside I can think of is that someday I might be ready for a more advanced camera. Maybe not.

I really have loved my new camera I purchased on ebay. The Nikon Coolpix S220 is exactly what I was looking for. I was going on a trip to the Moab desert with about 20 friends and had a really sad camera that was only 2.0 megapixels, so I decided it was time for an upgrade.

It was a great decision, because I came back from my trip with amazing pictures of friends and the breathtaking views. I got the camera at a great price. It also works and looks great, so overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

I haven't owned many digital cameras, but I have used a lot of my friends. I think this one is perfect for me. I am a novice photographer, so the functionality of this product match my needs. It has inspired me to look into photography a little more and I plan on purchasing a camera that is a little more expensive and designed for an intermediate user.

i wish it worked faster at capturing my pictures. it is just an alright camera. it is nice and small so i can take it anywhere. i bought this as a backup camera and not my main camera.

definitely below average. you have to select what kind of you are taking picture of if you want to get semi decent actual look on the picture. less expensive solution but not worth it.

I wanted a camera that was pocketsize, this is it!!!! Great little camera with all the bells and whistles you need........will come in handy in Hawaii on my vacation.
