Nikon Coolpix L20

I have owned and purchased Nikon Coolpix cameras for my family since they first came out with the Coolpix 2100, a 2 megapixel camera with a 1.5" lcd screen.
Nikons have always proven to be durable, easy to care for and easy to use. The Coolpix L20 is no exception. Having owned this camera for only about a month it has proven to be very popular with my family and seems to clearly have taken the place a favored camera of the 4 other Nikon digitals we own. So much so that I am considering the purchase of another.
The menu and photo viewing options are easy to learn and quicker to access then the dial and search on the previous models and the large screen is very easy to view. the L20 added the smile detection to our photographic beag of tricks and quickly has also become a favored shooting mode for taking photos of people and animals alike. Also, the photo to ready time appears faster than expected when compared to my other Nikons and the fact that it is a 10 megapixal.
Overall, I rate this camera as Excellent so far and I am excited that it has offered another good impression of the Nikon brand.
