Nikon Coolpix L12 7.1 Megapixel

I love my NIKON COOLPIX L12. It takes great pictures,Its easy to use.has a great stablity feature in the camera,so that you do not have to be worried about blurry pictures. It has alot of great easy to use features ,you do not need to be a proffesional to take awsome pictures. For the price ,Its an excellent camera.I Highly recomend The nikon Coolpix L12 camera for anyone who wants great pictures at a reasonable price.

If you are the type of person that is not so much into technology and gadgets no worries this is a simple camera.. yea it has all its settings that you can use but even without the setting it takes GREAT pictures

What a camera!!! I was sceptical when I bought this camera. I wanted something small that I could carry on our GoldWing and still take great pictures. I can't believe Nikon packed this much punch into a small camera like this. Pictures are awesome, it focuses fast, the features are immense. I shoot a D70s digital SLR, and while the L12 won't compete with a camera like that, it will stand up to most pocket digitals on the market. Try it - you won't be disappointed - I wasn't!!!!

We purchased this camera in order to have something that's small and easy to carry and still has a high quality as I also own a Coolpix 8800. The features and picture quality are great as well as the ease of use. I was very surprsed to see features such as many scene modes and vibration reduction which I have in the much bigger camera. Exellent purchase and I expect it to remain top of the line for many years to come.

I was very impressed with all this seller had to offer with this camera and I had one before it was stolen this year. It was almost like brand new and it had a few extras with it. I would buy from her again.

One of the best feature of this camera is the panoramic assist. In this mode, it gives you a partial picture to line up to. Unlike the Olympus which only gives you a guild line. Take great picture and very well build. Since all these cameras are made in China, I consider the Nikons being build by superior Chinese.

So far we have had no problems with the CoolpixL7.1.Was purchased for my wife to the pictures of the children she watches.It seem easy to use and have had good luck with the pictures.The switch for telephoto or close in would be better on the front of the camera(newer models are).

Easy to use and great pictures and video,from micro to wide view,even dose great in low light with out flash,two AA batteries and SD card are a plus!! I would buy another Nikon in the future,and so would most of the people i've showed it to,thank's RD

I had my L11 for 2 years, and loved it. My Marine son needed a camera for use in the field, so I gave him my beloved L11. I mostly shoot with Nikon DSLRs, but like to carry a glove box camera for those unexpected photo ops. while on the road. I bought my L12 to replace my L11. I thought I would be happier with the L12 because of the dedicated VR and Portrate buttons, and slightly higher resolution. The build quality of the "L" series is excellent, and I like the standard AA battery usage. Well, I'm not as happy with the L12 as I thought I would be. The VR function is rather disappointing.I guess I'm just expecting too much, as I use VR lenses with my DSLRs and the L12 has the function in name only. All things considered, the Coolpix L12 is a very good point and shoot camera, and one of the best for it's price point.

The Cannon Coolpix L12 is reasonable priced, impressive good quality, and has amazing ease of use. It is very feature rich with features such as face-detecting autofocus and optical image stabilization. If you take the time to read the manual the L12 offers a lot. It takes good videos as well.
The L12 features a slightly below average quality f2.8-f4.7/5.7mm-17.1mm (35mm – 105mm equivalent) all glass 3X optical Zoom-Nikkor lens. When the camera is turned on the lens automatically telescopes out of the camera body. When the camera is powered down the lens fully retracts into the camera body and a built in lens cover slides into place to protect the front element. The zoom can be a little noisy.
The L12’s LCD screen is fairly sharp, relatively bright, hue accurate, and fluid. The LCD screen gains up (brightens) automatically in dim/low light (LCD brightness can also be adjusted via the set-up menu). The L12’s LCD info/status display provides all information the L12's target audience is likely to need. The L12’s LCD screen fades radically in bright outdoor lighting, but it is usable.
If you but this L12 use Lithium batteries or rechargeable alkaline, you will go through batteries quickly but that is true of most digital cameras. It uses 2 AA batteries.
Great starter camera, or for someone that wants to take hassle free pictures.

This is a great little point and shoot digital camera, my second one, first one was stolen from my truck. It uses 2 AA batteries, takes SD memory cards, has a 3" screen, Nikkor lens, image stabilization, takes great photos, video clips and is very easy to use. The only thing it lacks is an optical viewfinder.

Decided to buy this little beauty when I say the Absolutely Fantastic recovey time between Shots !!! Most cameras manufactured today are so slooooooooww that you could have lunch between shots. Large screen is good, size is not too small but still too small for my taste. I like a very simple camera and while this one does the job it still ahs way too many bells `n whistles to fool with like ebay , and I just like to get on with things rather than play around with frills. Eats batteries like candy if the flash is used , and takes a while to get used to using for close up or macro shots. Price is right... but not real excited about the unavailability of an afternarket AC power supply/adapter. other than that it`s a decent piece of equipment. NOTE : Just noticed that EBAY is hiding ALL ID`s ON ALL Auctions now which is a Pretty Lame Way to gin up extra bucks .. so I dumped all my watched auctions and probably won`t be bidding too much on ebay in the Future..because od This ebay ploy; I like everything out in the open and truthful where my $$ are concerned. it is a large lcd, very light weight steady shoot camera, great resolution, it is a good option if you are not a pro but like to take good pics... is a nice camera

We have used a Nikon coolpix camera at work for 3 years without a problem. Takes good pictures no matter what the lighting condition, so I decided to buy one for my daughter.
