After much consideration and review of options, I bought this lens. I'm glad I did - it is SO sharp. I use the 18-200 for common travel, but will use this lens as much as I can now.
One of the first shots I took was of my dog. this lens showed up so much dirt that I can't see with my eyes, that he got a bath later that day!
