Excellent camera for moderately still pictues

Great camera, sharp pictures with spot-on metering. I have been shooting Kodachrome with it, and the results with -1/3ev compensation has been excellent. It is probably about as small as you can get in a 35mm film camera. Excellent control if you want to select your own aperture and focus distance for creative reasons.
Other reviews have cited the flash going off all the time, but that automatic function can be turned off relatively simply and flash can be selected whenever it is needed. I have never found this to be a problem.
The battery life was also cited as another problem. My average is about 2+ rolls of 36 film before a replacement. You can get the batteries for a lot cheaper on line than in stores, so I stock up and never had a problem.
My "Moderately Still Picture" comment is based on the shutter speed on the camera. If you have VERY bright light, you can force it to shoot at 1/500, but normally it max out at 1/250. So if someone is really jittery things might get blurry, but I don't shoot fast moving things with this camera and expect a clear shot.
And the camera has no adapter for filters, so if you need to use filter, I guess you are hold a sheet filter in front of the lens. This might mess with the auto focusing, sooo....
I still like my SLRs, but I carry this camera with me most of the time and really have enjoyed taking pictures with it. The camera is very capable and would rarely be the limiting factor hindering your picture taking creativity.
