Accuracy
Less-Avg-More = MORE
The Slingshot irons are above average in terms of accuracy. They are easy to swing and the ball holds its line beautifully after being struck. Great for those with an inconsistent swing.


Distance
Short-Avg-Long = Above Avg
The ball likes to leave these clubs in a hurry. Noticing much improved distance, it took a while to adjust to these clubs. these clubs fell about 10 yards shorter when compared to the Cobra 3400i/H clubs, but the trajectory was nice.


Trajectory
Low-Avg-High = High
The ball coming off the club goes high and lands nice and soft. This is especially nice when approaching the green. This only is a downside when playing on a windy day.

Feel
Less-Avg-More = Less/Avg
I did notice on these clubes that there is less feedback from a set of steel clubs, the Cobra 3400i/H's, or even the Nike NDS clubs. However, being a mid-handicap golfer, I didn't mind as I am still improving myself. Using the long irons (3,4,5) I was able to tell more about how I hit the ball than the short game irons.

Forgiveness
Less-Avg-More = MORE!
These clubs are easy to swing and they are soooooooo forgiving. Some may say that it is taking the skill away in golf, these irons if hit in the non-sweet spot will still give you nice distance and trajectory, which is nice for the weekdend golfer like me.

Overall, these were the clubs I ended up getting and have noticed drastic improvements in my game. I know Nike is a four letter word in the golf world, but with their aggressive designs and changes in technology, they are becoming a force in the PGA. All-in-all, I would recommend these to my friends.

I had originally had my eye on a set of Nike slingshot irons when I first began to play golf last year. Since I was beginning golf I really did not want to spend a lot of money on a set of clubs that would end up sitting in my garage. Luckily I had originally found a set of Cleveland TA5 irons very cheap to help me through learning the great game of golf. I have continued to play golf throughout this year and my 7 iron was solen at the beginning of this year and I ran over my 5 iron about a month ago so I knew it was time to begin the search for a new set of irons. The instant I ran over my Clevland 5 iron I started to think of the Nike slingshots that I wanted since last year. I still noticed that they are a very popular set of clubs and therefore still somewhat pricey, for me at least. I was very happy to find a set of Nike Slingshots at a great price. When I received them there were the knicks and scratches that the seller described so I was pleasantly suprised with the total condition the clubs were in. I have already used my new set of irons 6 times since I purchased them and I like them better than my first set irons.
