Nike Slingshot 4D Iron set Golf Club

I played strictly Titleist Irons while growing up... I switched after a demo day at Golfsmith in Austin, Texas to the Ping I3... I played that set until this year... A lot of the local pro shops had been talking about the new Nike Slingshot... All I remembered about the Slingshot was how huge the heads were and they were not easy to work... I have never been a big fan of Nike products reluctantly I tried the clubs because of the more traditional look... Lets say I got on ebay and found a set for a lot cheaper than I could have bought them at the pro shop. As most of you know there are several golf club fitters and dealers on eBay. Price competition is a good thing for the consumer!!!

I have not been disappointed so far this year... I purchased my set with the Project X 6.0 shafts... It was a slight upgrade charge but anyone can tell you that the shaft is the most important thing when dealing with a golf club... With that said, I have gained 5 yards a club and dropped my handicap 5 strokes... I would have to say that this is one of the best game improvement iron sets I have hit in regards to feel, accuracy, and shot shaping... In regards to feel nothing can beat a forged club but the feedback from these irons are better than most... I was a little surprised by the Golf Digest club review but then again everyone's swing is a little different.

Only advise I would give is go to a local Golfsmith or anywhere you can demo a set before buying any club... Golf Digest club test is not always the best information because I always walk out of Golfsmith with a different golf club than what I intended on buying... I would recommend everyone getting fitted if you have the time because it will make a world of difference on the golf course !!!

Fully $350 less than in the big name sporting good stores. Playability is excellent with solid feel on the fairways and in the rough. Large sweet spot on all clubs. I would recommend this set for the beginning or intermediate player.

I finally had a chance to use the clubs, and i did not want to write a review until I had. They are perfect. My iron shots are more consistent than they used to be, and I have greater control with the better weight balance in the club heads. I have a very hard and fast swing, so club head stability is a must, and these clubs have it. Thank you for the wonderful purchase and your expeditiousness in shipping the item was only exceeded by the quality of the clubs; it goes without saying that this was an incredible value. I love the low center of gravity and heavy head. It allows a good ball flight everytime you strike the ball. I am in the process of getting the shafts lengthened for me as I am above average height. Can't wait to get out and play all next year with these fantastic clubs.

If you are looking for a club and haven't decided on a set yet, get to a golf shop and swing these. I gurantee you will fall in love with them.

I bought this Nike Slingshot 4D Iron set Golf Club few weeks ago, and it works great. This is a great vendor.

This entire experience has been a hastle and I wish I would never have bid on these golf clubs. I've asked for the sellers co-operation through pay-pal...I got no response. I've sent several messages to the seller...they last few I never got a response. He did not seem willing to work with me at all in order to resolve this issue, and now it appears that I am just out $280.

This iron set looks great and hits even better. I like the way they feel,the weight of the club and the grip. I haven't made it to the golf course but have hit them in my yard net and could not help but blast a couple ball into the woods.

Bought new 4d last week very forgiving clubs and they look good in my bag as well. I decide to buy these clubs after playing a couple of weeks ago and hitting with my brothers slingshots.

The Nike Slingshot 4D's just feel right. Very light, beautiful finish, and oh so much feel. I've never struck better. Full recommendation for any golfer. Weight displacement is perfect. Hits high feathery shots. I can't wait for this season to kick into high gear.

This was avery good deal on new Nike irons and my son really enjoys playing with them! He had tried them before and wanted a set!

Bought these clubs for my 14 year old son. He absolutely loves them, and he has shaved 10 strokes for 18 holes off of his game.

My wife got me these clubs for our first anniversary. THE GREATEST GIFT EVER!!! I love the feel of the clubs. They are much more consistent than the clubs I was playing with before. I am very pleased not only with the playability of the clubs, but even used, they maintain there consistency. I hit more greens in regulation these last two rounds than the previous 15 rounds. Extremely good product.

More flexible shaft(senior), good weighting, seem to hit the ball further and straighter. Grips are good and very easy to hold club and align shots.

clubs were near to new, and in great shape with minor scuffs and/or imperfections. would consider buying from this company again

i wanted a new set of nike irons, i thought this was agreat set for the price, i had no idea this set was made in china i could live with that the numbers on each club looks like chinese numerals i am very disapointed with this buy,

The swing feel is excellent. The grip is natural feeling. These irons have taken 3-4 strokes off my game. The wedges are very easy to make proper contact with. All in all they are great.

What a difference...I have been playing 30 year old irons and the Nike Slingshot 4D irons have bumped up my fun level by 10 strokes. I was okay in college and let my game go for 30 years and now that I am getting back into it I find that the equipment is helping me to regain some of my old form. The irons were the last that I replaced and the size and shape of the face of these irons are giving me hit after hit that uniformly fly especially near the green. I am surprised by how well the ball bites and sticks. Yesterday I hit the green from 120 yds away on three separate holes and the ball was less than 10 feet away from the ball mark every time. Nike has some great products and this is one of them. They look good too.
