Nike SasQuatch 460 Tour Driver Golf Club

Nike has finally come of age in the manufacturing of drivers business. Granted they were really making progress with the Ignite 410 then some improvements went into the larger Ignite 460. Now, however, they seem to have taken a leap in competing with the likes of Taylor Made in providing a solid golf club that can give the above average player a viable alternative to having to "guess" what weight to put in which slot, etc. This club is set up so your only choices are loft, shaft type, shaft flex, shaft weight, and length. The center of gravity is such that I have found the launch angle and trajectory of the 9.5 degree with the Diamana 83 gram stiff shaft to be optimial for a swing speed of 100 to 105 and is still very stable when stepping it up a notch even thought with the faster speed the tendency is for the ball to arc a bit high.
A quick note on the over the counter standard Sasquatch. This is a real boost for the higher handicapper in getting the ball airborne with optimal carry and helping to eliminate those big slices, however, lessons and practice help as well.

I had hit the Nike Tour Driver before and was looking to purchase it. I decided to look here on Ebay before I looked locally. I found what seemed like a great deal on Ebay and was the winning bidder. I had some complications with the seller. I eventually received the club only to find out that it wasnt the club listed. I have since had to just accept the fact that I'm stuck with it since the seller (new2grteacher) will not respond to any emails. I would NOT recommend that any individual purchase anything from new2grteacher. Looking at his feedback he has a history of this activity. I am very pleased with Ebay and the OTHER great transactions I have had, This one although makes me very hesitant to buy of Ebay again.

I am a single digit handicapper and like most golfers is always in search of that extra few yards from the driver. I have purchased and thoroughly tested Nike's line of Sasquatch Drivers and as well as modifed the shafts in search of that ultimate club. I think I've finally found it in the Sasquatch 460 Tour. I purchased a 9.5 degree driver with an Aldila NV 65 Stiff shaft from ebay and after an hour on the practice range and 27 hole round, I can't contain my enthusiasm for this club. Solid shots fly straight as an arrow and has a tight boring trajectory that ultimately adds another 20 yards of roll to the drive after landing. It is moderately workable for the draw or fade as well. 300 yards is now a reality for me on solid drives and 260 yards are the average for the off center shots. I still felt in control when I gave it a little extra umpfff for that long par 5. I would recommend this club only to low handicappers because if you really miss it, it isn't as forgiving as the other line of Sasquatch drivers. Solid contact will give you a ball that takes off and just seems to go forever. I would also recommend some form of swing analysis to determine the optimal loft, shaft, and flex combination. Mismatching the club and shaft to the player is usually what causes the poor review ratings on this site. You should be able to hit any club head reasonably well as long as the shaft is the right fit for you. Here is my overview for the other clubs: I would recommend the Sumo Squared for the very high handicapper because it is very forgiving and will add yards and accuracy to those with a lower swing speed. Heavy hitters should avoid the Sumo squared because hitting it harder doesn't necessarily give you that extra bang for the buck you're expecting. The original sasquatch and Sumo are essentially the same club. The sumo is suppose to have a slightly higher MOI, but I couldn't appreciate a significant performance difference. These two clubs will perform quite well for all levels of skill level. But if you've got skills and make consistent contact, you have to go with the Sasquatch 460 tour, you won't regret it.

I couldn't hit this club for the life of me. Most other oversize drivers I have hit have so much energy, and this club felt dead. I (unknowingly) bought the stiff flex which could have been the reason. I ended up buying a Taylor Made R7 and selling the sasquatch to my dad who really likes the club. Overall, I would recommend going to your nearest Sports Authority, Dicks, or whatever sporting goods store you have and trying all these clubs out first.

I was hitting the Nike Ignite driver before this one and let me say there is a huge difference. I went from hitting 2-3 drives in the 300yds to 6-7 300yds drives in 18 holes, and Sumo 2 hits the ball straight. This club is forgiving but very noisy off the tee box. I went from scores in the low 90's to scores in the upper 70's and lower 80's. I am on my second Sumo 2 in 2 months so I not sure about durability. I received a small crack on the top of the face and it was not from a miss hit, Golf Smith replaced it for free. This club is flat out sick and is a must buy if you like hitting bombs off the tee. Other stats that might help in purchase is I have 121 mph club head speed so that may aid in some of the bombs I have hit with this thing, I am not sure what the average golfer is. Great club.I hit this club alot truer and straiter than any other club i have hit. I would advise anyone to try and hit this club. I truly enjoy it.

I liked the fact that the seller of this item was very honest about the description of the item (it's use and condition). It was a great gift for my son and at a great price. "The best of both worlds."

So far I like the driver. The headcover sucks, so I went and bought the new Sumo headcover which slips right over perfectly. So far my misses are all to the right, me or the driver? But pretty straight overall. I don't see any real distance gain from the sasquatch though. I was hitting the Adams redline 460 before.

I was looking forward to receiving my driver as I had tested one prior to making a purchase. However, the item I purchased was never received so I can't comment.

I really enjoy my new Driver. Everything was accuratly described and it shipped a little faster than I assumed.

i was amazed in how fast the club got here. I was very dissapointed in the condition the club came in. The headcover was trashed and the club was scratched up. you didn't say how bad of condition the club was in and the picture of the club was not the club you sent.

The absolute deadest feeling head on a driver I've ever hit. Goofy sound off of the tee. No comparison to Callaway Big Bertha 460. Don't buy this club.

The club performs like it should but beware on items that doesn't show any pictures of its original item, and although you receive some pictures later, those pictures doesn't show the whole thing. This particular club had a plastic sleeve separation right at the club hosel. The photos I received at a later date didn't show that part.

The tour head is smaller head than the Nike SasQuatch which make it easy to maniplate the ball. I have two friends that have been playing with this club for the past year and I have hit theirs with good results.

Great doin business with you man! The driver is sweet and its just like the one tiger uses. Im just gonna hit the crap out of the ball and play so much better.

It was my first buy on ebay and I was very impressed. I got just what I ordered. I was happy about that. It's a good item and I got what I thought I was going to get.

Very good club. Nice looking but has funny sound when struck. Easy to swing and has a good feel at impact. Fairly easy to keep ball in fairways and in play but expected better distance.

A very well balanced club. Easy to hit straight and get max distance.

Looking for more distance off the tee this club has given it to me, couldn't be more happy with a club, this is the best club I have bought since the Nike cpr I purchased 2 years ago. Seller was excellent bought it the week before a tournament and it arrived the day before, would recommend him to all.

Awesome club. My first day at the range I was cranking the balls into the woods with it. Easier to hit than my Callaway X460 Tour is also. I would recommend this club to anyone since you can get them at a good price used now.
